A lot of people in this thread should re-examine their priorities and try to understand just why it means so much to them that Allegri is sacked as Juve's manager. They would probably do well to focus on other areas in their lives.

It has been an impossible season for any manager. I don't think our roster is all that great and the possibility of points being deducted has loomed over the heads of the players all season. With a great squad we could have contended for the title anyway, but our squad is not a great one.

We need to rebuild and moving on from Allegri is part of that process. But he is very far from the most crucial piece of the puzzle.

He’s gone for sure, but yeh, he is nowhere near the biggest problem. A big part yes, but the whole club has been run like a shambolic shitshow for over half a decade.

I don't recall one game in which I liked our football, if that's what you're asking. Our players look scared, if not outright weak most of the time.

This is a key key point though. De Ligt arriving at Bayern and undergoing a specialised training regime to get him match fit. Vlahovic getting injured with Serbia- an injury consistent with somebody who jumps to working out at a level above their fitness.

These things are indications of something which goes beyond the responsibility of the players. Almost nobody has been playing well as an individual, but just like this crisis is not only the fault of the staff it's also not only the fault of the players.

okay, so it looks like i wasn't fully clear. my bad then. if anyone thinks that this squad is good enough to fight for the scudetto or a comfortable progression to the cl quarters, then they will be 100% disappointed with the next coach, whoever it might be. i said the same when pirlo was rumored to be fired and all kinds of replacements were thrown around in the media, and the situation only got worse for this season. this squad lacks leadership, experience, attacking quality, balls, speed, everything. this is by far the weakest juve squad of the last decade, and it's not even close. a new coach will make it look better with a less passive approach, games will be less of a torture to watch, it's still nowhere near the quality we're used to, and with players of this quality, results will be hectic too. that's what i meant with the quoted part
