Rather your 'hope' should be that he gets sacked once the season ends. After you lose the locker room and you're confronted by the team's star players, there is no going back.

Hopefully Calvo (if the rumours about his unhappiness are true) and Giuntoli tall some sense into Johnny El-Cunt and persuade him to change his mind. A businessman like him should be aware that now is the good time to cut our losses. I refuse to believe that he's reluctant to sack Allegri due to "financial reasons"- he's smart enough to look at the bigger picture here. The losses incurred as a result of his management here must surely be greater than the cost of laying him off at this point.

This is why I believe that the Agnelli's have developed a kind of sentimental attachment to Allegri who they associate with the 'good old days'. They kid themselves into believing that he can restore that kind of stability and success. That's why they brought him back. Or perhaps, and this is probably more likely, firing him would be an admission of their mistake. This family is too proud for that. They're putting their egos and stubborness above the wellbeing of the club itself. Got nothing to do with it being "too expensive".

Id prefer a younger, less experienced manager as it is. The club won’t reinvent itself with another dinosaur.

Have said it before and ill say it again : the Arteta example needs to be used here. Arsenal had been the laughing stock of EPL for ages.Arteta was criticized right left and center. And this season it finally bore fruit and they came within touching distance of a title win.

Bring in a fresh manager. Keep expectations low. Give 5-6 years to turn things. If at the bare minimum we keep on qualifying for Europe and the game play improves, than its going to get better in the long term.

We are the richest club in Italy and you would give some manager 5-6 years until he finally wins something? We are about to finish 2nd, point wise, even with all the shit we had to endure throughout the season. We are on a verge of bringing sporting director from Napoli, effectively weakening them. 5-6 years lmfao
