And if we insist playing with a LB then play Danilo there and Gatti - Bremer as CBs.
That’s the other backline I’d be interested in. Cuads isn’t really useful going forward anymore but he’s still decent defending. So Cuads-Gatti-Bremer-Danilo would be interesting. It should have been tried months ago tho. Not 3 weeks from the end of the season.

squad is bad, circumstances are straight out terrible, the worst ever for juventus. so he should get some credit to keep the squad more or less focused and making fun of idiotic journalists

but the matches, man... this is easily the slowest, most passive juventus i can remember since the late '80s. we can't realistically expect us to win any match while we're so reactive, timid and clueless around the opposition box. that poor fucker iling tried to cross like a dozen times when he looked up and saw zero team mates around. the return leg is a must win game, and i bet we'll play the same match: sit back, hope for some counter opportunities, don't even try to gain possession, and only attack (that's a bit of a stretch, let's call it 'play higher') when the time runs out

funny thing is that we manage to get the worst out of our tactics: we can easily get countered while we are unable to show up and make passes in the opposition box. so we don't play high enough to attack, but still play too high cause we get countered, right? what a fucking paradox, jj 2023 makes zero sense

save for rare occasions like the lazio home game or the wins vs inda & atalanta, i hate to watch this team, the ultimate frustration

Nobody believed me about this guy when I first started to question his terrible tactics in 2016.

He's a limited coach and does not get the best out of players. The whole management is rotten to the core so it's not really his fault.

I wouldn't pay to watch that garbage if I was a season ticket holder.

The history of juve results against Spanish teams under allegri in knockout stages keep my dream alive for second leg. Come back against A.Madrid and R.Madrid, two wins against barca with 3 goals margin and two wins out of four matches in the face with Sevilla. There are few of matches that he lost to spanish teams.
