Because it would be our first non-Italian trophy in almost 30 years. Would ease the crushing pressure that the club has in CL matches, I don't care what anyone says, it would.
Because sometimes a trophy win, even if lucky and random (Milan 2003) can start a winning cycle.
Because no matter how shit we think he is, he is till our most successful European coach since Lippi and he does have some credit still.

I have a hypothetical.

Let’s say we ugly scrape our way to Europa League title this year and then fix our FBs and depth out wide in attack this summer, some of the young players make a big step in development, and next year Allegri wins the league with ~90 pts and plays CL QFs or better.

I doubt any of that happens, but if it does… Do we all have to apologize for hating on the man so hard?
Apologize for what? For expecting a guy earning millions to do his job properly? Nah.

What you described is what’s expected of anyone coaching a club of this caliber.

If anyone saw Man City play Arsenal, just watch how they pass and move. Ignore the individual displays, see how Haaland is used and how they press and support each other. The basic philosophy is important and it's exactly how Vlahovic is played for Serbia.

Even Inter playing the same formation as us looked levels above us and so dangerous. I mean, it's a really inconsistent Inter team that concede a lot yet we did nothing. This isn't Spurs where the squad is so poor that Conte is sacked and becomes a hero, it's the pathetic Allegri with a decent teams being a dick and constantly embarrassing us.

I'll be happy if we win the EL for the reasons you describe. Morale is rock bottom and has been all year. Winning something can only be good for the team.

If we win it we'll have won by scraping our asses (btw this is the reason Fagioli has been benched - his cake is too thick) by the thinnest of margins. I know that winning isnt important it's the only thing that counts. This isnt what boniperti meant though. It will be a modern day great train robbery if we win a EL at the end of this season. We do not deserve it.

The worry is that it will lead key people to believe that Allegri must be doing something right, and it will mean him staying on. I have a strong feeling that's what will happen. But it won't stop me celebrating a European trophy.

I can endure another season or two of Allegri, zero international trophies in 30 years is more painful to me. But if we DON'T win the EL, he can fuck off please.

Damn the masochism is strong on this one

Jokes aside, I could count on one hand how many matches I watched all the way through this season. Most I just lost interest half way.

I don’t think I can watch a single minute of yet another season of this Jurassic football. Enough is enough.

I bet you that Elvin dude aint watching neither, but that doesnt stop him from suggesting the club should just continue to rot, if just we add an EL to our spreadsheet

Juventus would like to hire a new sporting director next season to work alongside Max Allegri the coach likes Giovanni Rossi of Sassuolo but there is a chance for Giovanni Manna to be promoted .Allegri input will be considered as there is transfer window and contract renewals planned for some players. Guys like Allegro considers playing garbage football as a badge of honour

It's under Allegro that this concept was highly popularized by his radical supporters. Any opposing opinion was quickly shot down or you were told to 'go support Man City' instead.

These tribalistic jihadi's genuinely believed JJ playing attractive football = haram.

Not just that, but also constantly peddling lies about how Allegro's football is the DNA of JJ. By saying stuff like this, they were not only insulting great players/teams of the past but this was also doing a great disservice to some great coaches of the past who are far more legendary than Allegro.

I have always believed winning and playing good football are not mutually exclusive. This is why Real Madrid and Bayern have gone on to become footballing institutions. Not many look at JJ as a role model and an example to follow these days.

This is the 21st century and football clubs are not just football clubs anymore. They are large business corporations. They don't just need a 'fanbase', they need a customer base too. You attract fans/make more money not just by winning but by being easy on the eye to watch as well. At worst, you can do much better than defending in your own half against Salernitana.

These fundamental concepts are necessary to be an elite club in the 21st century.

This ideological crisis needs to be quickly sorted. This Mullah Allegro has gone completely insane with his extremist ideologies. What he could do to this club could be far more dangerous than what Ceferin/Gravina could do. Winning a 2nd tier European competition isn't going to wash away his sins.

He’s having a good point though.

As much as the current clown show in Bayern is going on, there’s not a single chance Allegri would’ve survived here for more than a season if we compare the current results.

We sacked competent managers many times, Van Gaal, ousted Jupp to get Pep, sacked Ancelotti and now Nagelsmann as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if Tuchel is gone next season as well at the latest.

I’m not really a fan of the way we’re doing things right now, but one can’t say we’re not ruthless when it comes to personel.

We sacked a manager while we were still competing for all trophies ffs.

Klopp would probably be washed by the time he comes to coach us anyway.

Pep is starting to play some interesting football, notice how direct they played against us and Arsenal. I also remember he started doing this in his last 1-2 years while here, seems he finally learned something.

Most of the signings made by Bayern flopped along with not signing Lewandowski replacement. So expecting a new coach to work miracles is not easy.
