I mean, surely CL elimination in the group stage is a sackable offense. There should be a clause in his contract, just like in the agreement with PSG for Parepiss, if he fails to progress beyond the CL group stage and win the league in his first two years, he has to go, albeit after being given a small compensation for his failure. We can't just be handing out contracts based on good faith and past success. Oh wait, that's probably what we do at JJ - after all, we brought in an expired Pogba because he used to give us great performances 7 years ago.

The squad is clearly worse but I just don't see the same football that Allegri 1.0 played compared to now. Like 2014/15 season was really enjoyable to watch
Coaches like Pep or Ancellotti don't magically lose their touch eventhough they manage different squads. I mean their team still playing the same way. Even lesser ones like Conte or Sarri also the same.
So I'd say it's 30% on squad and 70% on the coach

Probably A) he had better players, players who were not only better on a technical level but had the attitude as well and B) the passage of time he is now somewhat outdated in approach and doesn't seem to have the will to evolve. C) there is a general decline in Italian football that permeates throughout the league


In his defense he still seems a good man manager, he deserves credit for getting the team to keep its shit together and grind out results through starting the season without di maria, chiesa, pogba, the general lack of individual quality in the squad vs expectations and don't forget all the scandals and incompetence the upper management creates. The team is in 3rd place and still competitive for a CL spot, CI and Europa League.

Results wise, maybe few managers would have done as well when you look at the challenges he has faced. Maybe he was the right man for the job to suffer through this season but he needs to leave in the summer. No more excuses, he has world class attacking players who are now fit and yet he doesn't show any evolution

Id 10 times rather have Cunte than the Allgrim, at least he would be able to piece together some sort of a team and give them a play style and spirit. Then he should probably get kicked out pretty soon after. Cunte atleast know how to find the ignition and be able to fucking start the car, while the fraud is completely impotent and struggling with the voices in his head and which random formation to try next.

If we could find somebody exactly like Conte, who was a club legend but who hadn't stabbed us in the back, but who would happily come for one season to give us a strong foundation and then fuck off before his weaknesses become our weaknesses then it'd be ideal.

You can clearly see trained attacking plays and patterns. I consider not having attack training allegri's biggest weakness and main failure. Maybe the fraud doesn't even know how to teach offensive plays.
