Alot of people still over look how stale and boring we were towards the end of his first spell.

They can come at me with all the stats they want but I remember very clearly how we played.

Serie A was trash. Most games felt like pre season friendlys. We would just cruise through games at half pace and still win because are squad was 10 times better than anyone else's.

Now #ancelottiout is trending after todays defeat, a guy who just won the CL for them... yet we are planning to keep our master tactician and reward him for fucking us 2 years straight.

Even when theres a clear difference in money, theres also a clear difference in mentality on both clubs.
RM fans can count themselves lucky they didn't hire allegri before we did, allegri would have been out a long time ago by now

that must be the new barcelona 3-0 lol

the only time in those 5 years that juve went out against a lower rated opponent in cl. and that's sack worthy for some. but the same have sarri and pirlo nostalgia.
how well coaches have done since our return from Serie B:

1st tier: Max 14-17, Conte;
2nd tier: Max 17-19, Sarri;
3rd tier: Ranieri, Pirlo
trash tier: current Max, Ferrara, del Neri, Zaccheroni

we could also split 3 tiers into 6 as the first name in all 3 did better than the 2nd, but didn't want to make it too complicated

You people

putting a team that got eliminated in the group stages against Galatasaray in the same tier as one that reached 2 CL finals, and above one that got eliminated against Real thanks to a last-minute controversial penalty while finishing the season with 95 points.

so conte's whole tenure is top tier, regardless of some truly embarrassing international and cup results, but you had to split allegri 1.0 into 2 tiers somehow, and put it next to maurice

okay i guess lol

Resources changed. Conte arrived at a team with half the revenue we had in 17/18. And as I said, I rate Max 14-17 higher than Conte and Max 17-19 higher than Sarri, but didnt want to complicate too much.

Id say:

Tier 1: won with style, overall a Juve I could be proud of.
Tier 2: won the league, but the team was going nowhere
Tier 3: didnt win, but did some good work.
Tier 4: embarrassing

I think there's definitely room for nostalgia for Sarri or Pirlo or Ranieri times with how our coach is performing. Myself I wasn't a fan of either of them and didn't mind sacking them all, but objectively it was better than this shitshow, sometimes you can't even tell this team has a coach or training sessions.

OK I get it.

Let's make it real simple.

Based on the level Juventus should be,

tier 1: Max 1st spell
trash tier: the rest
I strongly disagree Juve should be on the post-Cardiff Max level, I think we should be better.

Obviously it's time to go for Allegri, but the bigger picture is the players we buy and sell. Napoli simply has a better roster than us. How is that even possible?
Our squad isn’t that bad, the fact that we can’t keep the team fit is the bigger picture. And that keeps haunting Allegri, since his Milan days when it costed him the Scudetto to 2019 when we missed many players in the CL.

And maybe he isn’t to blame for every injury but the fact speak for their self. We missed 12 players before the WC.

Cant win when you don’t have a fit team.

Given the investment for Allegri to have a 4-3-3 that failed so we go back 10 years to a 3-5-2, with 70M on Vlahovic but barely any goals, Paredes for nothing, Di Maria playing part time, and Pogba on maternity leave, this is utter waste of time and money. Given Allegri's salary, I think a youth team coach would do a similar job for a fraction of the cost.

II don't want us to play 3-5-2 again, I don't want to draw 2-2 with Salernitana when Atalanta score 8 against them, I don't want to hear about us breaking negative records this season. If we were on a transfer ban or a selling club then yes we can yo-yo up and down the table like Udinese, but not when we've spent so much money.

Take Europe out of the discussion too. Napoli are CL level, we are Europa level and the gulf was evident on Friday's beating. Once upon a time I'd dream about getting Napoli/Ajax/Porto/Benfica in CL, thinking its a free pass but not anymore.

I think it is.

Compare our squad now to what we had in 2014-15. Night and day.

Chiesa - Vlahovic - Di Maria
Pogba - Loca - Paredes/Fagioli
Sandro/Kostic - Bremer - Danilo - Cuadrado
Tek

+ Milik, Miretti, Iling

That squad should easily compete for the title and survive the CL group stage. It really isn’t a very bad team, the sad thing here is that we haven’t once seen the team playing a match all together.
