Hereby I want to denounce the terms JJihadball and Allegrisaurus in connection with this team.

Dinosaurs are powerful gigantic creatures who hunt other gigantic creatures . Max would just lay down and starve & die and his last words would be 'The others don't know anything about hunting'

JJihad is surprising and explosive. Determined men and women send blow themselves up because man in the sky said so. Max would just land the plane in Florida and go to one of these 5am breakfasts where you get liver & onions for 5% off with a coupon

I propose the term Hospiceball. The moment JJ team steps on the pitch it knows it's over and has no intention to do anything about anything, by design. Having surrendered on the inside It simply sits there, waiting for time to run out and hopes it won't hurt in the end.

Dignitasball: witnessing death on the pitch but with dignity, because we beat Barcelona 3-0. Also, a humane end to Allegri's career rather than us sacking him.

Chiesa - Vlahovic - Di Maria
Pogba - Loca - Paredes/Fagioli
Sandro/Kostic - Bremer - Danilo - Cuadrado
Tek

+ Milik, Miretti, Iling

That squad should easily compete for the title and survive the CL group stage. It really isn’t a very bad team, the sad thing here is that we haven’t once seen the team playing a match all together.
Hmm, if I look at that squad, I see
- 1 at best average, at worst completely unreliable GK.
- a rather underwhelming backline with 2 decent-ish players & questionable backs.
- a pretty weak midfield with 1 okay player, 1 pretty big prospect & 2 players that never should have been here.
- a potentially decent enough attack.

So no, I don't see us "easily competing" for anything.
Hell, rewind the the clock 6 or so years & ask yourself who of our current bunch would get real playing time back then. It's a pretty short list: Chiesa.

Of course, all this doesn't change the fact that the majority of our performances has been really lacklustre. Nor does it excuse some of Allegri's baffling decisions.

That's a really poor team.

There's no other way to say it.

Yes , clearly Monza, Salernitana, Fiorentina and Maccabi have better teams.

And Milan & Benfica's teams are literally floating above. I mean Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz, Rafa Silva, Joao Mario, Goncalo Ramos are GALACTICOS.

Only understandable that our shit squad would lose

Other Serie A teams are poorer and that includes Napoli even though they’re performing better.

Guess we’re back to blaming the squad :baus:
I'm not blaming the squad. Players do what they can. But there are many players in there that just do not have the quality to be playing for Juventus.

lol that team isn’t bad, especially if you have everyone playing to potential. Better side than Napoli as well but let’s kid ourselves.
This isn't about Allegri. Any manager who loses 5-1 against Napoli has to walk.

But in terms of players we have a bang average roster. An expensive roster. But an average one. I don't know if Allegri is the one who insisted on certain players or if this is something that is decided higher up. But tactics aside, we've had really poor transfer periods the last couple of seasons.

Bullshit. Most of them are unknown players.
Bet you don't know Kim Min Jae or Kvara before they came to Serie A
This is why I'm not Juve's head scout or sporting director.

You're going to miss out on certain talents. Every once in a while a side like Napoli buys a Kvara. But my point is that we haven't bought talent of similar quality for a while now. Someone hasn't been doing his job.

Can’t disagree there. This isn’t a squad that can realistically compete against the big boys in the Champions League but for Serie A? It’s more than good enough.

There are two reasons why it might look like it isn’t. One, injuries. Two, an incompetent coach that can’t get the best out of them. It’s utterly embarrassing with how much our squad cost that we should struggle against anyone, let alone the minions in Serie A.

The squad and the coach go hand in hand.

Is Chiesa shit now or is he being used as a fucking RB? Maybe the latter!
y, agreed. when Conte joined and Juve went from 7th place to champions, the perceived value of all players that we had on the squad or that joined increased massively. the same effect but in reverse takes place when the team is in disarray and nothing works.

ℹ️ On Thursday #Juventus will have their first game in #CoppaItalia against #Monza without Massimiliano #Allegri on the bench as he's suspended: it will be up to his vice #Landucci to guide the squad.
