Stack the defense and sit deep against weak opponents and try to snatch a goal jihadistyle.
If this is his only way we get top 4, I'll take it and run. The club is in crisis, he is not going anywhere due to the fat contract, we are out of Europe and there has been no progress going forward. All things considered things could have been much worse on the pitch and in the table.
Hopefully this continues to work and we secure top 4. If the new board keeps him then they probably would have kept him anyway and they don't care how we play so long as we get a CL spot. There is no ambitious project, we are in survival mode and if this is the only way we survive then its the best we can ask for now.

I actually agree with you on most points, but i also am pretty sure that we were quite lucky to get away with all the points in more than just a few of the games during this winning streak, but nonetheless that also does not cancel out at all the great work done on the defensive organization and mentality side, it’s been years since i’ve seen this much determination and passion, as they say, nothing is just purely by chance alone, sometimes people(teams in this case) do tend to make their own luck… and then when we look at it from all perspectives we’ve actually also been incredibly unfortunate with injuries to key players both before and during this run so overall i think we are actually doing much better than what anyone would have thought before this started, i just hope that we can keep it up and actually put up a Scudetto challenge, although realistically it’s still very far fetched given how fragile and inconsistent our line-ups and game can be but at this stage there’s sure nothing wrong in keeping some hope alive and praising where it’s due. 
Let’s just say that during this run of games our luck factor has fairly made itself felt compared to previous periods when everything seemed to go against us… i’d also not underestimate another very important aspect here, which would be that lately the referees also seem to no longer be on a mission to give absolutely all 50-50 challenges to the opponents and pretty much make a mockery of majority of our games, which is indeed nice for a change although i wouldn’t go as far as to applaud them about how they’ve handled our games recently.
Grazie Mister… 2place after a terrible start.. and a terrible last season.. It seems you found some rhythm in your head and you’re going after it.. I hope with the return of Vlahovic, Pogba plus Chiesa and Di Maria, we will improve our game too.. I believe you can bring the scudetto home and prove the haters WRONG.
