Either way we finaly look like a proper team, solid at the back with clear idea going forward, after a long while. With injured players coming back, we should be catching up with Napoli in the 2nd part. We have conceded only 7 goals in 15 matches thus far, which is outstanding tbh.

Anyway, point is, we've been through these good spells here and there before, with ultimately the same outcome. It's not an indication of any long term turnaround. We can keep playing these stupid verbal ping pong games after one gets their way, but the last 4 seasons have proven that nothing actually changes in the end does it? You throaters are so short sighted and absorbed in the moment, unable to maintain any level of consistency in your reasoning. It takes just a few games to win you over completely. We will lose to Cremonese and you will change your minds again.

Because it's a hogwash, the team is going through a great spell, players rising up to the occasion, showing determination and courage, with Allegri looking to turn this around, and you are pissing on everyone's parade but keep going. Dont mind me. Players are also firmly behind him, but apparently he lost a dressing room as suggested before lol. Kean just expressed how gretefull he is to Max, etc... The entire atmosphere, from players to fans on the stands changed and is more akin to our golden years. This is entirely different vibe Im getting.
The last time we had 6 wins in a row in Serie A was 4 years ago, under Allegri. But regardless, the last time we looked like a proper team was also under Allegri. We have conceded 7 goals in 15 Serie A games, the least since 2014/15 season. Neither Sarri or Pirlo solved our defensive woes, which in most case is prerequisite for the title challenge. I find this encouraging and with more ideas going forward, the return of injured players, this team is capable of challenging Napoli in the 2nd part.

It's a good run of games. But regardless of win or lose at this point, it doesn't matter to me. The more matches we play under the anti-coach, the more difficult it's going to be to change our methods and approach in the future, just like before. The only thing that ever works for him is tactical defending and trying to hit on the counter. It might work in Serie A because the teams are just garbage (I mean, Lazio didn't even have a striker today), but we keep falling more behind in the modern game to the rest of Europe. We're like a group of junkies just itching for that one last high before we get clean, only to return to the syringe once more before we OD on our horrible football in Europe.

The only thing that would up my respect level for him is if he kindly resigns at the end of the season, because we all know he won't get fired any time soon.

By start of season objectives the season is already a failure by crashing out the group stage and by probably not winning Serie A.

However just because we are not hitting initial targets doesn’t mean we should free fall. Winning EL and top 3 with clear improvement in how we play should be the revised objective.

He should be sacked anyway but most likely if we hit the revised targets he will stay

It will be hard to sack him IF we win a trophy. However, Zero titles for a second consecutive season (the guy is earning 9 million including bonuses if I' not mistaken) is simply unacceptable.

There have to be standards - we can't just revise objectives (yes, I realize this happens in a business, but usually heads will roll).

Yeah, good work on the Serie A games but there were the CL debacles in between of course. He won’t get sacked now.

I really hope that we seize the opportunity and use this break in the best possible way. Let Sebia and Brazil go home as fast as possible.

The injuries should be seriously addressed and if the same thing happens during the second half of the season its time to say goodbye

Some proper recovery time will do us good and hopefully we’re able to add a good RB.

Not sure what to believe, but there has undoubtedly been a clear improvement in the last 5, 6 games or so. The introduction of Fagioli in particular has really lifted our midfield. Both Rabiot and Locatelli seem to perform way better next to Fagioli than with any other midfielder in our squad. Fagioli does add that bit of quality needed for them to play more of their natural game. Players like Di Maria, Paredes, Bonucci and Vlahovic have seen less game time, but the people who have come in have turned us into a more well-assorted team: Gatti, Miretti, Kean, Milik. None of these players are "world class" or "goat material" by any stretch of the imagination, but they work well together. We are finally playing like a team again, and I have to give credit to Max for having figured this out. If this was the solution - and it certainly does seem to be - then it wasn't an easy one to find.

I'll have a bite of humble pie, certainly. Just a bite, though, not a whole piece, because I do believe that the jury is still out. But this is very promising. Great game tonight.
