Credit where it's due. It's the first time in years we are showing this kind of form, but it came a little too late after we got knocked out of CL.

Allegri played youngsters when his back was against the wall and he had no other options. The big question is, will he continue fielding those young players who have done so well if we are in a title contending position? Because, let's be honest, his stubbornness was one of the main reasons why we have struggled this season.

Funny how magically the team is able to play some (still ugly) football and win games after the introduction of Fagioli and the benching of Coach favourite mackenni.

The real trivia is, why on earth this superb coach waited for all the objectives of the season and the failure to be fulfilled, to introduce fagioli? He was not injured, he was ready since the start of the season.

Why the prefenece of a mental and physical handicapped player like mackenni, to the obviously more talented player in Fagioli? We all know how allegri distactes his football mastercall, but this change right here, done earlier in the season, would have saved his ass most likely.

But no, he had to wait a mackeni injury to get his hand forced.

This speaks volumes of his decitions and above all, his overall understanding of nowadays football.

This streaks of wins, more than a acomplishmentt, are a case of study.

But well, previous coaches were sacked for much less, so i hope the club has the decency to do the right thing when the time comes. He simply cannot have a free pass after this debacle of a season.

The question is, why this so called genius coach lasted this long to introduce the obvs better player in fagioli?

Lol, that alone is unforgivable and shows the true colors of this genius

For me if he manages to maintain this level of perfomances through most ot the rest of the season and win or at the very least fight til the end for the scudetto and EL, I would let the early CL exit embarrassment and his stubborn only taking action when forced attitude slide and would maybe consider him another season.

But only if all of the above was met. Anything less is yet another failure and street.

It will be hard to sack him IF we win a trophy. However, Zero titles for a second consecutive season (the guy is earning 9 million including bonuses if I' not mistaken) is simply unacceptable.

There have to be standards - we can't just revise objectives (yes, I realize this happens in a business, but usually heads will roll).
Exactly. Both should happen. But we'll likely give him and Rabiot an extension

It’s win or street for me. Results are supposed to be what matter at this club. Win scudetto or EL or get the fuck out.

And before people talk about performances, style, tactics. For us to win either of those, al three of those are gonna have to improve massively from what we’ve seen most of the past 16 months. Inter second half and Lazio gonna have to be the norm.

Also, Mickey Mouse cups are fun to win, but not worth keeping him for winning.

Because it's a hogwash, the team is going through a great spell, players rising up to the occasion, showing determination and courage, with Allegri looking to turn this around, and you are pissing on everyone's parade but keep going. Dont mind me. Players are also firmly behind him, but apparently he lost a dressing room as suggested before lol. Kean just expressed how gretefull he is to Max, etc... The entire atmosphere, from players to fans on the stands changed and is more akin to our golden years. This is entirely different vibe Im getting.
The last time we had 6 wins in a row in Serie A was 4 years ago, under Allegri. But regardless, the last time we looked like a proper team was also under Allegri. We have conceded 7 goals in 15 Serie A games, the least since 2014/15 season. Neither Sarri or Pirlo solved our defensive woes, which in most case is prerequisite for the title challenge. I find this encouraging and with more ideas going forward, the return of injured players, this team is capable of challenging Napoli in the 2nd part.
“He fixed the defense” 2.0. Like Inter wasn’t opening us up with ease and missing sittersSandro didn’t get a last minute red to avoid conceding.

One dominant performance and you’re already thinking we’ll challenge for the title.

The entire atmosphere from players to fans is akin to golden years

Good game.. solid performance from everyone involved..

Couple of themes of our game
- defensive solidity.. what Allegri works on first and foremost.. he did the same last season and got us comfortably to 4th.
Yet, was not enough to reach any targets.

- we are scoring more from open play rather than fixed ball situations. I believe it is high percentage in the last 6 games.

Now..
- so far.. we did not win a game when we concede first.. still to see how we will react to going behind.

I dont want to experience it.. but it is inevitable to concede first.. after this excellent form.. I wish to see the team will react now as previously this season and the one before.. generally.. we would crash and switch off at the first goal conceded.
