You might not win the UCL, but you might be better than this. I mean, come on, blaming the players for Maccabi? We are sitting in two banks of four in our box with Rugani back there. What do we expect? They hit crosses, it's not difficult to predict. A couple come close and finally one goes in.

Close down the wings against minnows and what do they have left to do. No, of course we just sit in and let the cross come.

McKennie at RM in a deep, narrow, 4-4-2 and we blame the players. Look at the first goal and the time and space! It's the coach who did that. We have Di Maria who played 20 years as a RW and he comes here to play SS and defend the air in the classic 2 striker setup from Sunday League.
mckennie played rm many times at schalke and plays on the right side of a 3-man midfield for the nt too. he should be able to do that. also, team has been defending with the same shape for years, it should work without the ball with competent players. yes, it's probably the coach's fault that mckennie can't even run despite running being his only skill, allegri ruined his diet and probably fucked his team mate's sister too in the nt. mckennie is an examplary professional, he never breached covid protocols either, that's for sure. he played like shit against haifa, 60% pass accuracy, 10 lost possessions within 45 minutes, lost most duels, always 2 steps behind the action, but he's not to blame for that match. the coach told mckennie to let crosses in. bad setup automatically means bad individual performances.

we've been having the same blackouts within matches for years. same happened with pirlo and sarri too. scapegoat? allegri. we've been managing games like shit under sarri and pirlo too. blaming the players? fuck no. we've been signing random overpaid mercenaries without any dedication for years. mike: blame the current coach.

again, for the slow bunch: allegri should be fired. i'm also adding that the players are to blame too. i bet the slow bunch will ignore it.

all you remember from the 2nd round of previous year (vs empoli, when chiellini said "it isn't a team") is that mckennie was tried as an am/tq so the coach ruined the match. i also remember that he was subbed out at halftime and we missed all of our chances with a better setup too. i also remember that vlahovic needs 10 shots for a goal, rabiot only started to try since his next contract is at stake, bonucci lets brahim diaz run towards goal like a courteous gentleman, cuadrado is able to completely ruin a 5 v 2 counter, sandro hasn't been able to cross for years, danilo was never able to attack. but but but it's the tactics, fullbacks should be higher than vlahovic, football is simple.

your post is true in a vacuum but a nice deflection considering the context. you somehow started to talk about maccabi while completely missing and ignoring my point. you said that those who we bought recently were exemplary professionals and completely ignored the majority of my post when i proved that they aren't. we've been having more or less the same issues for years, even with strong characters in the locker and game changing players on the pitch. now we only have di maria who's expected to do some unexpected move while a few years ago we had ronaldo, dybala, higuain, pjanic, even costa for flashes lol. this is a more and more sterile squad with ageing key players. senators are almost gone, those were the only players you could blame, and it turns out that chiellini or buffon are much harder to replace than you suggested. we'd be a better team with chiellini now.

and again, for the slow bunch: allegri shouldn't be here by now, for his supposed involvement in this meh mercato and the crap job as a trainer, especially this season. that's not even up for debate. mike thinks that all of the players are true professionals for their whole careers which clearly isn't the case. in fact our recruiting has been nothing short of disastrous.

Some of you people either have a very short memory or must be 16 years old. Allegri has won lots with us and got us to a CL final twice. And realistically, how much is a coach to blame for the failure of an organization? He's just an easy target. The truth is we've been doing some very stupid shit ever since Marotta left and we're paying for our mistakes now. We need to rebuild as a club. Not just fire a coach and get someone else.
The past doesn't matter. I know it does to some, but past success doesn't guarantee future results. Especially when the person involved got fired in the first place for an obvious lack of ideas and progressing with the times. Of course the management is to blame as well, which is seemingly getting worse year over year by rehiring Allegri and giving him more say in transfers, not to mention all the silly stuff with young players we can't be patient on. But if you're waiting on Allegri to make changes and it's already been well over a year since he's been hired, with results getting worse and worse, you're going to get old pretty fast. Life is short bro, fire Allergi.

There's an old Brian Clough quote that says, "players can you lose you games, not tactics."

But that quote is from like 1978.

Clearly tactics can you lose you matches, because basically every time we play, we sit back after scoring (or not scoring, in this case), and we concede. Who is telling the team to sit back? Obviously the coach. If you spent several days and watched all our matches this season back to back, then someone asked you to document the difference of each, you'd lose track because all them are the same trends and garbage.

Regardless of the absolute debacle at the management level Max must go.

I dont think this 'ritiro' is going to help either, the players have their fair share of blame but it seems like Max doesnt want to say any of this was his doing, its all on the players.

Do you think he'd be ready for Europe and a team like Juventus?

What sort of football do River play under him?

I think it was Trez that apparently spoke very highly of him to the management
He knows italy, he's played many big BIG games, he's pretty loved by his players.

As for style of play, it's modern well organized constantly moving team. Lotsa pressing and attack with numbers, they don't allow the opposition to dictate the game. Watch this for a better analysis

Is there any indication that he could step into a side like Juventus that has been brainwashed for years into a certain way of playing and change the mindset? Because we need re-education from top down.

Who is defending Allegri? I think we all agree on here that he should be out by now, but we have far worse problems than just the the coach.
Think I read some comments that do so, that Dostoevsky wrote a reply which I concur, to those comments.
Perhaps is a thing of perception but maybe you are right.

Gallardo was a very good player, but two things count against him:

1.) He's not Italian
2.) He's never played or couched in Italy, so he may not be familiar with the league or language

Our xenophobic nationalistic management group might consider him inferior solely for those reasons.

I'm definitely in favor of a change of direction. Tudor is another couch who looks interesting.

You blame McKennie for being shit, but Allegri keep playing him as starter. So who is more to blame here? :lol3:
For sure McKennie didn't pick himself as starter.

And what is slow bunch even means? I genuinely ask because English isn't my native.
Is this another insult like retard or something?

It is a nice way of saying retard, you are correct.

The only way one could convince me that Allegri isn’t ruining players like McKennie is if he starts scoring own goals.
