I think you have to factor in that there is huge emotion at present. Personally, this is the lowest point of being not just a Juventus fan for 35 years, but a football fan and it has happened under this man’s tenure. He has killed all enthusiasm for football to the point I don’t want to watch or play the sport.

That emotion clouds his previous accomplishments and some time would need to pass before the average fan is able to approach this topic rationally.

Del Piero was ready to sign a blank contract. And went to Serie B. Marchisio got hurt playing for Juve, was broken and still gave up the last two years of his contract. These are undisputable legends, who deeply cared for the club. Im starting to think Allegri doesnt.

Look man. If Allegri resigns this month, I'm all for granting him legendary status (at the end of the day it matters little what I think). However, if he continues to break every negative record in the book and we end up missing the CL, then I will find it very difficult to consider him a legend.

Look at Marotta - does he deserve to be in the rookie section? It's debatable.

Judging players is different to judging a coach, I suppose, but even then Barza, Marchisio and Del Piero never really outstayed their respective welcomes, and we were still winning, even when they were in the twilight of their careers.

Lippi's 2nd stint yielded two Serie A titles, and it was only in his last season here (2004) that we we failed to win, yet still comfortably finished in 3rd place.

Allegri has been garbage for almost 1.5 years now.

that's what i'm saying: it's all some reactionary drama created by some spoiled fans who already forgot that the same man was our coach during our 9 year domestic domination. allegri (along with conte, marotta, and some world class to very good players like buffon, chiellini, barza, pirlo, licht, tevez, vidal, pjanic, marchisio, pogba, etc) are the reason we think that anything than a domestic double is an utter failure. ffs this club failed to win the coppa for 20 years, and the longest previous scudetto run was 5, right at the beginning of serie a history, back in the '30s. yes, worse seasons can happen, and it is one of the worst i can also remember. this won't take away anything allegri has done in his first 5 years.

sack him, hire a more fitting coach and move on. but let's not discount his 1st stint here which was nothing short of excellent. for me he's a legend before he starts counting our scudetti the inda way. it's like evaluating klopp on this current season lol, isn't he suddenly a pool legend anymore? fans always think that you're as good as your last game, so it's only natural, i get it.

also, i'm probably kinda less wound up cause i've been telling for years that the level of squad has been dropping very quickly and steadily. i expected a meh season, similar to the last one, simply based on the players at disposal. this is a much more complicated issue than just regular peeps wanting blood and trying our luck with an other coach. we're obviously doing much worse than even i expected, so firing the coach is obviously warranted and required moving forward. questioning his legendary status is an other thing though and i won't go there yet.

The worst Juve coach I have ever seen who broke almost every negative record there is. His first stint is not relevent as even then we did not play the best football possible and most of the success was due to the great players we had.
Currently, his limitations have been exposed for more than a year. Relegation level football and mediocre results at best.

I honestly dont understand why it takes so much time to fire this guy. He is like doing everything possible to get sacked but "We still have faith in Allegri" - I mean our team isnt doing anything - isnt determined, isnt playing nice but losing - just play terrible and lose, there is no improvement - Why is there still faith?! I fail to understand.
I`d even back up promoting Montero as its different to what we have and we arent really scared of making things worse as Montero would need to do really bad in order to get the same results.
Chances of us doing better with Montero are more for than against (When there is no aspect of positivity you must change)
