The team sucks , but no one should expect us to kick and running so quick ....team need to gel ....

it is fair to give him and the team chance ...we are having new team !

maybe the coward approach because we are vulnerable yet to open up spaces ..

delay your judgment until end of this term ...
We have a lot of gelling to do with basically 10 players in our own half at maximum 30 meters from our goal posts.
Nothing spells gelling better than players crowded in our own half hanging on for dear life.

Was having a beer with a hockey teammate of mine after a game and saw him wearing a Juve warm up shirt. After asking if he's a supporter, he replied with, " Yes but I fucking hate Allegri and refuse to watch that garbage on the pitch". Told him I agreed. Anyways, This made me think. Allegri has said multiple times that he doesn't care for beauty, just cared about results. Well I 99% agree. Results are the goal but it's not just a game anymore, it's a business and a show. Everyone, even minnows have embraced this concept, yet we have not. Our own supporters don't even want to watch this garbage let alone the average fan. This can result not only in financial loses in revenue from possible sponsors but also, and I'm sure it's already true now but more players will not want to come here. I'm not pretenting to be some astute footballing person but a shit product even if you're scraping wins is not a successful plan. One of these #$$%^ upstairs has to realize this.
Fundamentally, I don't mind defending 1-0 lead for 80 minutes
but if you're gonna do it, be good at it
win all the games that way then nobody has the right to talk shit about not producing joga bonito

but if your 10 player defensive organisation is worse than sunday league 3 obese drunkyard defense then you must attack

I can't recall when it was, it was in the first half but about 8 or 9 were behind the ball collapsed into the middle of the field in an area no more then 50ft apart, letting the purple rats passing the ball around like we were scared to press. Like what @Pirlo's Beard said. His old park the bus and counter attack isn't even happening. Allegri has some how regressed in tactics. It's legit frightening. Forget the hate ot his tactics are shit. This is so worrying to see. Leagues trying to change, successful or not teams are trying to attack more and it seems like everyone now knows exactly how Allegri plays and that "fear factor" we once had is long gone. Stadiums not even a fortress anymore because fans are busy booing us when we collapse like this 10min into the game.

That second half is not acceptable at this club and honestly insulting to us fans.
I am losing my patience and I hope the management is too. Sorry for repeating myself but if he fails to beat any of Benfica, Salernitana and Monza and/or we don’t show up against PSG even if we lose I would sack him and try to hire Zidane or even Poch before Bologna’s game after the international break.
The more time passes the more I get angry about that second half, and as much as I love Allegri and appreciate what he’s done and achieved here but patience isn’t endless and I am dead sick of hearing any excuses or devils’ advocates.

I completely agree. Doesn't have to be pretty but I still enjoyed watching that team back when we did it in 2015 16 etc. But yeah this is just scary.

For more than a year I’ve been hoping max has some ace up his sleeve. That he’s fooling us all and will one day suddenly show that he has been tinkering with some brilliant concept that takes us all by storm.

enough. Street
Yeah same here

Because we had seen it so many times before, but nope

Also if the PSG game isn't the one to win why the fuck did we rest key players?
Why does no one else do this?

That game was just ridiculous on every level. Just bizarre because like someone said before we didn't even play on the counter it was just concede ground and that's it. It's so illogical because you've given yourself no chance and have to rely on luck. It's honestly bizarre, not even Monza or cremonese will play like that against us.

Too much of an unnecessary risk imo. We need a non-Italian established modern coach that will force this management to spend. Look how Conte forced a mean motherfucker like Levy to keep Kane and to have two very solid mercati since he took over.

GIF 2022-9-4 11-23-54.gif

I made the gif because this scene frustrated me most and even infuriated me. Look at cuads and kostic, just walking there as if it had nothing to do with them. Paredes realized Bremer need help but he's too far away and is in a dangerous area to recieve the pass.
It just showed the team had no discipline, everyone had no idea what to do and they don't even bother running. The mentality is beyond abysmal.
really lost and don't know what they are training every day.

How much money will he have to be paid if he gets fired?
Less than it costs us overhauling the squad every year, losing out on success and having to sell all our players for cheap as they look clueless and useless the whole season.

More specifically: To re-street the fraud and inventor of "jurassic footstone", it costs us the same as it does to buy a good new player.

@JCK @Post Ironic @Hust I swear this isn’t one of those “I told you” moment, I’m just legit curious to know what’s your take on this guy now?

You guys still willing to give him more time? Is there really any reason left to believe he can improve this squad?
To be fair, hasn't he always had slow starts to seasons? Even during his first stint, scudetto winning seasons, much of Tuz wanted him sacked even half way through the seasons

It depends if we show balls. I think the bedouins can be bullied, and that's why i say if we dont show up for this game I'm done with allegri.
I agree. The least we can do is show up and put up a fight. Max’s defeatist comments are concerning but maybe it’s part of his tactics. In the case we get humiliated, I’m done with him too.

You can’t re-write history and Allegri did a great job last time in his stint, what he achieved was the maximum he could have and I’ll always have respect for that.

HOWEVER…

The job he is doing since he has returned is nothing short of terrible. Just look at these performances already this year: Samp, 2nd half vs Roma, 2nd half vs Spezia, Fiorentina. In these games we’ve reverted to pussy football, allowed our opponents to control the game and capitulated. His team doesn’t even look like it knows what to do when we have the football. We’re playing a catenaccio with some kind of counter attacking philosophy but we have no pace or technical ability to counter attack?!

The reality is we won’t sack him, we don’t sack managers mid season. But this guy is a terrorist and allowing him to continue is going to do damage to this club that will take further years to repair. We are the worst coached team in serie a and have 0 game plan. Pioli, Spalletti, Inzaghi, Gasp, Moutinho, Italiano, Sarri & Juric are all out coaching him and have a clear philosophy when their teams are on the field. We have no identity.

And since he has been back I cannot think of a single footballer he has improved. Miretti I believe would have broken out under any manager and Allegri gets no credit for this.
