Obviously stats are not the full picture, but it makes a fairly strong case to say that Pirlo was unlucky and that Allegri was pretty fortunate in his first stint and that we are seeing him in his true light now (with a pretty mangled squad).

Pirlo is the unluckiest coach in the world. If he had slightly more luck, he’d be 16th in the Turkish league, instead of 17th.
