The team has been badly constructed over the past few seasons so it will take more time to set things straight. You cannot compare this squad that barely made top 4 last year and its mentality with 9x winning champs, the team that smacked clubs like Real or Barca on their way to final. We have ups and downs, which was to be expected this season and Ive seen so many incidents this season which werent in our favor, bad luck. But this is going to even out over the course of 38 games so Im not gonna panic yet. Especially after pretty spectacular win. Instead I ll enjoy it ;)
I agree it will take time, but I am also not keen on praising performances like tonight because I know what winning character means, and this is not it.

I can't be complaining how bad the team is, how management has lost it's way, how Max is not doing a good job and then praise them for doing the bare minimum and having the decency to show up against a horrible Roma team.

I have learned to enjoy the little things in life. If you expect perfection, you will always be disappointed.

your bitching is even more impressive than mckennie's 15 kms
Think about it logically though. Awegwi is in the stands, the team is down 3-1, Arthur is the only CM option, Morata the only striker option, obviously we would have most of the ball since we were losing, the team just decided to play since there was nothing to lose, et cetera. It's not some tactical masterpiece or whatever some of you guys would predictably say. Give some credit to the players who actually turned it around, especially Morata.

I think The players definitely deserve the most credit. It’s not one or the other……

everyone gives credit to the players. it's only you and some other anti max ppl who still keep crying about the coach. must be hard to still bitch and cry when juve scores 4 and wins.

We came back 3 - 1 down to make it 4 - 3 and it still didn't gather a reaction from me as I had zero faith in this team at all and was expecting Roma to equalise at any given moment.

Then they get a penalty and I didn't care as I knew something like this was coming.

Szczesny then saves the penalty and they miss the rebound and still I show no emotion as I expect this poor Roma team to still equalise at any given moment.

This current Juventus team as drained my passion for football.

Now let's watch us draw 1-1 with Udinese next week as that's where my current expectations are at.

Zero emotions over this honestly. Reminds me so much of many crazy 'season turning' wins with Sarri and Pirlo which never amounted to anything in the long run. I haven't seen anything sustainable today that would give me hope for the rest of the season. Hope I am wrong

We won because Roma is fucking horrible. They haven't lost only to teams who haven't tried to win this season. Crazy 7 minutes, then reverted to more of the same after that too.

This team is bad compared to Juve 5 years ago. But it's nowhere near as bad as we have been this season.

Allegri needs to change. And by that I don't mean change into a hipster like many sarriboyz would want, but change to Allegri from the beginning of his tenure. Idc about playing style, but I care about intelligence and flexibility which is what made Allegri's first stint. I don't recognize the stubborn person of this season.
Allegri can't change to Allegri from those years because of 4 reasons.
WC Chiello Barzagli Licht, a very good bonnuci and later wc A. Sandro and WC Dani alves.

Now we have old and declining Chiello, bon non, decent cuads( although defending wise he is bad), non-existent Sandro, meme players (mds, rugano) and expensive dud ( de ligt).

We're not becoming that kind of Juve anytime soon, unfortunately.
Too many holes to plug.

This is still a Europa/Conference league team. 7 minutes of miracle does not erase that. When Kulusevski scores after such an awful performance, and MDS scores only the second goal of his career you know you just witnessed a miracle. They don't happen every day.
Or the fact that mourinho has lost twice to arguably the worst Juve side in well over a decade now

Bruh. Perspective matters.

This is first season in 10 years that juve might not win a trophy. 10 years. You need to take things in perspective on a large scale not in a season.

Ýou are right there are foundational problems that this performance papers over and will likely reappear again. However one of these problems has been the mentality. This game may be a signal of change in mentality

Good win but serious concerns about our tactical approach to the game and our general play and motivation. As much as I love Allegri that was concerning more than anything else.

In a must win H2H game again it looked like we turned up with a lazy attitude and no game plan. I really hope he gets a couple of improvements in this transfer window because we need it
