I’m slowly getting to the conclusion that he’s the wrong man for the job. He’s a great coach indeed, but perhaps not suitable for a rebuild job.
1- After half a season he criticizes the team as if he’s a pundit and not the leader of that team. the comment he made yesterday regarding midfielders just running around was the prime example. He has criticized Rabiot countless times yet he almost always starts.
2- I was hoping his man management skills turns us into a team but I don’t see any improvements. The protest scenes after final whistle yesterday were embarrassing. We have only scored 28 goals yet we’re so scared to move the line a little bit higher even with a decimated Napoli side.
The moves in the final third is frankly worse than mid table clubs. His football currently is not better than Pirlo’s.
it’s not only him that looks wrong for the task. All the management hierarchy seems to be out of their depth. If we finish the season outside of top 4, as it seems very likely, I hope Agnelli leaves too.
