If it’s impossible for a good manager to change anything at Juventus then hire whomever on a low salary so we can spend more on the amazing signings we are destined to have on our books next year. Only the logical choice since the only thing that matters is the new signings we will surely have.
It’s both, which is obvious. Squad quality has completely gone in the shitter and we just sold our best player and only real goalscorer in the last week of the transfer window. Add to that, Max hasn’t close to figured out how to get the squad we do have to perform with any sort of consistency and you get this abysmal mess we have now. We show flashes where we look like a solid, organized team that can grind results but will always struggle to score (best case scenario for this squad makeup) and then we completely fall off into the shitter. That’s on both the coach and the shitty attitude, lazy, overpaid players.

No one thinks Max is currently doing good enough, conversely no one thinks this squad is near good enough, and the lack of a consistent goalscorer is the cherry on top of this mess. Allegri’s going to get at least this year, and part of next, and rightly so. This summer he’ll get a chance to at least partially rejuvenate the squad on the market. Then there’s no excuses left and it is shit or get off the pot time. Like @GordoDeCentral said. A few months into next season if we aren’t seeing consistent performances time to hit the road.

Costacurta to Sky Sport: "Sarri was let go because it was his fault, Pirlo due to inexperience. Now what is the reason for Allegri? They need to reflect on the players: for many this is a team with quality players, but I only see a few."
Completely agree with this. There is no quality in this squad aside from Chiesa (seems to be always injured this year), Dybala (seems to be always injured), Cuadrado, De ligt and to a degree Loca.

Oh what a mess this management team have got themselves into since Beppe was unfairly booted out of the door

Don’t agree with the ‘there is no quality to this squad notion’.

This squad isn’t a City or a PSG, but it is still good enough be in a comfortable top 4 position in a league like Serie A. The fact that they aren’t there is due to coaching and management ineptidue.

So Allegri is the best coach in Serie A, and a top coach in the world (is our assumption).

That means that he can take a lower quality squad and produce better than average results with it.

If we look at the table, that would imply we should be a team on same quality with Bologna, Verona and Empoli, as they are a few points lower than us right now, because we gain something from the Max effect.

These are the lineups of Verona and Empoli:

if he had any honor, he would have resign weeks ago. he is not going to leave before robbing the club 4 years worth of money. whoever offered him a 4 years contract is truly an enemy of Juventus.
there's a clause, he can be fired earlier with a minimal compensation, so calma, they thought of you

but bring any coach, this team won't win the league, the quality is simply not there.

100% won't win it. We are not good enough.

But chances are high we won't play like.shit and we'd get more points hence make 4th spot realistic.

I have been screaming about how terrible the squad is since the season before Sarri. And since then it has continued to deteriorate but our position so low in the table is solely on Allegri. The style of play is not of my concern, we've been always like this no matter who is in charge.

The same was said last year over and over again. The squad is just too unbalanced and simply not good enough either. Especially with Cristiano gone...

The topic title should be changed to Massimliano "Oldfart" Allegri.
The issue of squad weakness is the second problem, our main problem is Allegri's outdated tactics and approach. Modern football is based on heavy pressing. Look at the teams we have dropped points against them: Empoli Verona Sassuolo Atalanta Venezia. All of these teams are weaker than us in terms of players and lineups, but they are using modern tactics and they press high. In fact, Allegri lost tactically to Dionisi Tudor Zanetti and Gasp.
The style we play is outdated and no longer works in today's football. Other examples of this style are Mourinho and Simeone, who are in troubles too.

It’s both, but mostly poor management from the power drunk and despotic Angelli and his broski Pawel. It’s like the last days of a monarchy. Both are too proud to admit things are dire and have let the club fall on its own sword. Sadly, there is no way this club will have a revolution and be rid of Angelli any time soon. Pawel on the other hand may be a puppet with no huge amount of power but still just a barking muppet who does no favours to the image/psyche of the club.

They are both wholly ignorant and to blame more than anyone for letting things get like this.
