On the other hand, this squad is not 8th or 10th in this league, nobody believes that.

This team is under-performing very badly and we can't say there's any improvement. Literally nothing works and Max hasn't figured out anything by now. Maybe he's not cut to do the rebuilding and he thrives on managing stars/improving a working system?

My biggest worry is missing out on CL because that means we will need to sell and won't be able to spend. Good luck getting any quality without cash, considering how poor our scouting is :/

Is there a scenario in which his work is considered not enough and gets a sack?

I thought the minimum plan was top4 so that we maintain the capability to rebuild. If we're out of CL, it's borderline tragic for the club, there won't be another recapitalization.

I can't believe how badly this team has regressed. Last year we were clueless at the back but at least e could score a bunch of goals. This year everyone has regressed even further.

Do we really want another u-turn in strategy? Management already had the chance to build on the little that that Sarri & Pirlo did foundationally. If after Pirlo they thought a rebuild was necessary then they had the chance to rebuild playing a different style of football than what Allegri plays. But its too late, we already u-turned and are rebuilding with the same style we had before. I think all we can do now is double down and back him because there are no better alternatives on the market and it's better than betting on another amateur coach.

The sad part is if he fails (and thus far he is), we have no better alternatives and the damage is done, if he succeeds then it'll likely look like his last 2 seasons with us i.e. pulling teeth football.

and that's been the case since the covid break, with the 3rd coach. coaches were/are a problem, we can replace them every single year, but until we fix the squad, we're just going to be an other post-allegri milan, or post-mourinho inda.

Allegri wasn't brought in for a rebuild, we have no cash, covid has raped us. He was brought in to steady what looked like a sinking ship under pirlo. Allegri went with a safe option, a previous successful manager with experience. What wasn't known was just how bad some of these players were at the time. When they thought pirlo was the cause of poor performances from rabiot bentancur and others, they probably thought allegri could make it all tick and get them playing to their full potential. This clearly hasn't worked nor was it the case.

I still have faith in allegri, and I don't believe zidane or another high profile manager would have come in and turned these dismal lazy cunt players into world beaters in a short period of time.

Allegri's problem is his stubbornness to make change. Poor results and performances don't make him change his mind...that is the frustrating thing about him. We are missing a fair few players right now, we have others available who are playing appalling football...I want to see change...I want to see players used differently...I want to see younger players who haven't been given a chance game time to prove themselves. I want see the mentality of the players and their attitudes change. These are things that allegri can influence.
