Allegri:
Inter Juve will be a beautiful evening with more or less 60K supporters and we are back to live these great evenings between 2 great teams.
Inter and Juve alongside Milan have always been great teams in Serie A

- - - Updated - - -

We are playing one game every 3 days. Having 5 subs is changing the game. It's different. In the beginning I didn't know the guys that much. Now it's better and easier. They can be really important coming from the bench

- - - Updated - - -

Playing at San Siro vs Inter will certainly be a beautiful evening. But we have to make a result otherwise the evening is not that beautiful

- - - Updated - - -

These games prepare themselves because I don't even have to mention it's important. They know it. It's easier to prepare vs other games

- - - Updated - - -

About the lineup, I didn't decide yet because we came back from Russia and had only one great training. I will decide tomorrow evening.
Chiellini is ready to play. De Ligt as well, Bonucci as well. But only 2 can play

- - - Updated - - -

When De Ligt will be ready to play as a center right we can even think to play with 3 at the back but not yet

- - - Updated - - -

We have a lot of games before the break and they will all play

- - - Updated - - -

In football we have to be able to control the ball, pass the ball and unmark ourselves. Sometimes we have a problem doing these simple things

- - - Updated - - -

We have to train to make sure not to miss these basic things. Of course it's impossible to have 100% but we have to train to stop doing these simple stupid mistakes

- - - Updated - - -

In the last 2 years media linked me with a lot of teams, also Inter, I made the choice to come back to Juve. That's it.

- - - Updated - - -

At the November break we will see where we are in the ranking and what will be the next steps

- - - Updated - - -

Serie A start to be decisive around end February March. We can't be at -27pts of course but we have time to see where we are

- - - Updated - - -

About Bonucci's word on Cristiano. Now the team have all more responsabilities to share.

- - - Updated - - -

Inter is strong physically and technically with supporters that will push them a lot.
Tomorrow will also be a battle and we will have to be physical

- - - Updated - - -

Dzeko is a player that can play football and scores. With Lautaro they complete themselves. Barella, Skriniar, De Vrij, ... all great

- - - Updated - - -

Inter is still favourite for the Scudetto

- - - Updated - - -

I will see Rabiot today who became negative; I will need to see at what point he is because without training it's difficult

- - - Updated - - -

Arthur grew a lot. It's already a lot of months that he's not playing. He played part of a few games and step by step I will increase his minutes so that he can become a starter. He allows us to play faster and more vertical

At first I was satisfied that the management woke up and took a step in the right direction. Then I got happier when a bunch of Juve fans started to complain about him and wanted him gone before seeing anything. Later I got more excited when I started hearing a bnch of the fans saying that he is not a good motivator. The excitement grew when the complaints increased about him wanting clean sheets.

Nowadays with the string of 1-0, the joy has become overwhelming. I don't know what he is hiding for us for later in the season but I know I am looking forward to it.
yah people here were attacking him 2 matches in. like bruh give him a chance to fix team, we know he can turn players into a team.

and yeah people calling him not a good motivator like cmon guys

Seeing as management rehired him two years later, and fired the SD most responsible for his sacking… yeah, I’d say “what a dumb management”, but at least Agnelli recognized his massive mistake and rectified it.

Also, 3 season? So you weren’t a fan in 17-18? When we won a domestic double with our highest point total (95), our most goals scored (86) and best goal differential (+62) of the modern era, smashed Milan 4-0 in Coppa final to win it. Smashed CL winners Madrid at the bernabeu in CL qfs, only to go out on a last second dodgy penalty. But of course you weren’t a fan of his fourth season :lol2:

Happy to see you starting to come around though. Baby steps.
That season was average in CL as well yes, based on our momentum from previous seasons (not compared to now, our lowest level of course). Real were in front after 3 minutes in Turin, until 60th minute on Bernabeu, where we stopped to play and kicked in with a conservative approach to try to take it to penalties.
So Real were winning that tie from minute 3 to minute 150 (for long periods with 2 goals), and for 33 minutes the tie was drawn. In those 33 minutes where it was drawn, Real were actively bombarding us while we were scared. So yeah, ask any neutral fan and they would very much have a different view than that story you beautifully cooked up there. They were heavily leading on chances created as well. 10 shots on target against our 4. We saved some honor in that tie in the end, but it is not a trophy I will take home. Juve can and should do more IMO.

Compared to what we have achieved since, and with Sarri and Pirlo, obviously the above is much better, but I would also never use those two as benchmark for success, more of a benchmark for what is considered failure. That Im sure we agree on.

Some people have their mind warped or something and still didn't realize we were in those positions in CL because of Allegri. Yeah, we had a good team, but aside from the Ajax fixture, which we had to go through even with all the injuries, we were eliminated or lost to a much superior opponent every single time. Every single time. We had no business eliminating RM in 2015, we had no business in being so close in 2016 vs Bayern or 2018 vs RM.

Again, we had good teams, really good sometimes, but other than Chiellini and Buffon none of our players would be starting for RM, Barca or Bayern those years. We were the closest in 2015, we almost had a team on par with Barca but we didn't have Chiellini and we didn't have the experience.

Yeah it sounds stupid because if the whole Juve motto and everything, but we're to Barca, RM and Bayern in CL what Napoli was to us in Serie A. A good team with good fight until the end, but just lack the quality they have. No amount of fancy hipster tactical phrases will change that. We could've been conservative or positive as much as we would've liked, but we were underdogs every year to the big 3 in Europe. We never had a team of superstars like before Farsopoli and we were never on the same level as them. Simple as.

I disagree about Farca & RM. I have to add that I dislike Farca a lot and I rate high RM players plus having the Real GOAT :cr7:...

However Alves, Iniesta, Messi, Prime Neymar and WC level Luis Suarez are something else... like too much, we had an awesome team plus if ref gave Pogba penalty we may have won it but they dominated almost all game long

Max obviously made us overperformed in UCL each time bar Ajax as you mentioned but IMO we should have won Cardiff if we've kept playing like first half because we've played the best football out of the two teams. One day we'll know exactly what happened during half time
