Worst Milan in years? Does that Petrit dude even follow football? This is the best Milan in years, hence they are in CL after a seven year break.
Yeah pioli has turned them into a good unit after two seasons I am sure Allegri will treat this as a transition season to plan better for next season

We have played two out of the top 3 clubs in serie A. Against napoli missing many players. International break and injuries coming from it plus blinder from woj which costed us many points already.

Our position on the table doesn't tell the true story.

What we need moving forward is to play 90 mims of football, not just 45 to 60 mins.

We need to win the next 4 or 5 games...if not we will seriously struggle to make the top 3.

While defending is important, you need to relieve pressure so a long ball up to Morata is great because he holds up well against physical defenders while the rest of the team comes up. Likewise, Dybala can collect the ball deep and hold it to let some midfield runners come forward. You can blast the ball down the channels to let wingers chase down to the corner flag if you need to. The fact that we don't look dangerous on the counter allows teams to pin us back and gradually break us down or force a mistake which is exactly what happened.

No team attacks non-stop, they try and hold the ball as much as possible but during phases of low possession, the ability to threaten will always stop the opposition from committing too many players forward so you don't have to commit yourself to defend so much. We need to move away from this dream that we can see out games with defensive masterclasses and really consider a more possession-based, attacking gameplan.

Although we’re nowhere near in terms of quality, one of the biggest criticisms I have of our philosophy is the reluctance to exert ourselves and pump as many goals into the opposition like Bayern do. We need to be vicious and go panzer power in demolishing teams like a dog ripping out a throat.

Against the Milan of tonight, even a weak carnation of Bayern would have still gone in at the break with a good few goals as a cushion.
I think that is unrealistic. Allegri is a low-risk manager so that is out of the question which we already knew.

What we can hope for is that he brings back the defensive solidity we had his last stint.

Juve chose to go back to basics which is get the lead and hold onto it, and maybe counter the 2nd goal. That is the way forward whether we like it or not.

“There were some positives, in other words the first half, but what makes me angry are the final 15 minutes. We should’ve suffered more, been ready to fight tooth and nail. At those moments, you can’t look at being aesthetically beautiful, you just take the result home, even if it’s ugly.”

He is so washed up i cant believe it. For the sake of Juve hope his tactics and his philosophy works and we wont end up out of top 4

4 matches played and aside from empoli match where got outplayed from 1st minute.all other matches we conceded in second half and got outplayed in second half.

So this shows team has no stamina and no grinta to close out matches over 90 mins. And it crumbles when it concedes a goal as evidenced by loss from first half against empoli.

Allegri needs to address this asap. Wont matter if we take lead in any match cuz opponents know they just need to conserve energy (2015 allegri flashbacks lol) and they can just up tempo in second half and can get a result
