then why keep locatelli or rabiot on? for 4 3 3 to work u need a player to dictatate play. locattelli did not do that and u need a box to box mid. rabiot couldnt do that.

I kind of agree, but at the same time, Ramsay and McKennie are so horribly poor options, that Im not sure if you are trolling here or not 
you knew the team was going to run out of enery in second half based on how quick the temp was in first half. that's when you bring on mckennie who loves to run into box to give support to morata.

Not sure it's the right approach though, although these situations are often on a knifes edge.
Being 1-0 up and trying to defend for the rest of the match might work at times, but often is it a rather dangerous approach because you will find it hard to change back to the attacking gameplan if the opponents equalize.
I'm certainly more in favour of trying to get the 2 and 3-0 goal first and foremost.

that's it. That's exactly it. We'd always defend 1-0 and that shit is such old school, that's why we get humiliated in Europe where we play like shit.
