did you watch the game? how did you miss him shouting we needed a 2nd goal and 4-3-3 constantly during the 2nd half?
then why keep locatelli or rabiot on? for 4 3 3 to work u need a player to dictatate play. locattelli did not do that and u need a box to box mid. rabiot couldnt do that.

mckennie should be on the moment u notice your mids do not provide attacking support.

i guarantee you we would have scored another goal in first half had ramsey or mckennie playerd when milan was being carved open

All things considered, i actually am happy about the way we played tonight. We deserved to win and we cant take that away from Max. If we had a competent stiker upfront we would have scored 2 more goals.

Despite showing some very positive signs in the first half, I dont recall any huge chances that we created? We had a few potential penalty calls, but did we set up our attackers on goal?

I kind of agree, but at the same time, Ramsey and McKennie are so horribly poor options, that Im not sure if you are trolling here or not :D

i'm not. sometimes in football you honestly need to keep it simple. look at milan today. one corner and goal because someone was willing to take risk. their chances came from simple quick one twos. mckennie and ramsey can do this.

you knew the team was going to run out of enery in second half based on how quick the temp was in first half. that's when you bring on mckennie who loves to run into box to give support to morata.

I completely agree. Just pointing out the ridiculous situation we are in, when the alternatives really are Ramsey and McKennie.

HHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
He's an Italian manager after all. :p

Not sure it's the right approach though, although these situations are often on a knifes edge.

Being 1-0 up and trying to defend for the rest of the match might work at times, but often is it a rather dangerous approach because you will find it hard to change back to the attacking gameplan if the opponents equalize.

I'm certainly more in favour of trying to get the 2 and 3-0 goal first and foremost.

More defensively :lol2: that's it. That's exactly it. We'd always defend 1-0 and that shit is such old school, that's why we get humiliated in Europe where we play like shit.

Incredible. Yes, I wanted Max here, I still think he was a great choice. But nothing will change until we get a foreign coach.
