With all said and done, I am happy we went with best possible option available on the market. We desperately needed a big name coach who'll restore us to the top and I'm glad that the management acted on it. Getting a 'Galactico' in the coaching position was much more important.

This is for all those people who were saying managers are overrated and that the players are 'much more important'.

Also hope that the management have realized now that going for a change in philosophy is not possible with a half assed approach like we took over the past few years which landed us in a deeper financial mess. It was a really terrible attempt at 'rebranding' I've seen from a football team.

Well, they are. What’s the point you’re trying to make here?

So much nostalgia kicking in, emotions are flying, it's like winning a trophy we've been waiting for. Of course, success isn't guaranteed, whatever the case it's just so nice to see him back..

Both have their own significance. You can't undervalue one over the other unless you have a squad full of galactico's and superstar players. Which our team clearly doesn't.
This is for all those who got excited because Pirlo won us a mickey mouse cup when in reality he made us play like a midtable team throughout the entire season.
Players are nothing without the mentoring and guidance of a good coach especially those early in their careers. And it's clear our team badly requires coaching.

Can't wait for the Sarri boys who spent this season trying maintain their position whilst beating up on a rookie coach to chime in

A notable crew who seem to conveniently alter their position when convenient like the low intellect pseudo adults they are. Bless them for making as far as they have in life no matter their struggles

I think some players need to/will be re-evaluated under Allegri. Bentancur could be one among them. Not saying Bentancur is a world beater but as I said, he can be a good complimentary player. Pirlo's stupid insistence of 2 man midfield and playing him as a regista exposed him badly.
