Max was on an Italian sports show about two months ago, it was his first public appearance on a show of its kind since he was sacked by Juventus. They asked him straight up if he would return to Juventus next year and he didn’t give a clear no and danced around the question. It was clear to me from then that he was already in talks with the club to take over from Pirlo. I’m just elated that we’ll have a world class coach on our bench again to bring us back to the pinnacle of European and Italian football again. This time around, I hope the club backs him in the market and takes his suggestions on board.
