because we have an inferior team to the one he had when he left
i feel the same. but at least we'd know that the team is in good hands.
His last season here, with an underperforming Dybala, and a falling apart back line headlined by Rugani... I’d say the midfield was significantly stronger, even with a declining Pjanic, and aging Khedira and Matuidi, but the defence is far stronger now with De Ligt and Demiral in the side, and the attack is slightly stronger imo with Morata and Chiesa. If it was just Morata, no, but add in Chiesa and we’re better up front. Allegri also showed repeatedly that he was a mastermind of adapting to hide weaknesses, especially in our midfield, post 2016. I think we’d be in a very similar place to his last season here. 90+ points in the league, which means a close scudetto battle with Inter (no guarantees that we’d win it, but I’d trust Max there) and in CL semis, as there is no way we’d have lost to Porto under Max, or that we’d lose to this terrible Chelsea. Neither of those teams is even close to as strong and in form as Ajax was in 2019. We’d get spanked in the Semis though.

Just wanted to support my boy
@Juventinoo who was the only one who voted no at the time. But then he caved to public pressure
I welcome back Max! Not sure if he'll be as successful as the first time around but he's definitely the
best choice we can make
Fixed.
Unless Zidane becomes available. Max > everyone else.
