I have no doubt that if allegri stepped in after 1 or 2 games the team would tactically function, players confidence would return and we may see many players who have looked shit all season actually play well.

Would take us into the summer maybe not having to make as many changes as we all think we do.
On paper we still have the best squad in the league. Inter only has Barella, Hakimi and Lukaku who would be starters here. Players are underperforming all over the place in this team, only Chiesa, Cuadrado, CR and maybe Danilo, Mckennie and MdL have been good. The rest od the team is performing wayy below their ability.

Martinez, Eriksen, Brozovic, Vidal (heck, their whole midfield)

Possibly Skriniar and Bastoni

martinez is no better than peak form Dybala imo
Eriksen is not worth the 10 mill a year contract that he's on
Vidal - no thanks
He earns the same as Ramsey and rabiot :lol3:

Combined startig Xi imo

Handanovic
De Ligt De Vrij Bastoni
Hakimi/Cuads Barella Brozovic Eriksen Chiesa
Lukaku Ronaldo
Dybala instead of Lukaku, if he was in top form

Pirlo getting this team to second place would mean no Max, I fear.
Depends on how I think. Last season we finished with 83pts, of he gets around that they can justify it by inter having a extraordinary season. If the rest of our competition sucks and we finish 2nd with some 75pts, then it means we regressed badly. But top4 and Coppa is top priority, we can't bottle that

Truth. Also an interesting Marotta vs Paratici comparison

Report: Allegri told Agnelli to sell Ronaldo
By Football Italia staff

Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri reportedly advised patron Andrea Agnelli to ‘get rid of’ Cristiano Ronaldo. ‘He’s blocking the growth of the team’.
La Repubblica claims Allegri left a piece of advice to the President before he was sent away.
“Get rid of Ronaldo, he’s blocking the growth of the team and the club,” the former coach told the patron, according to the newspaper.
Juventus has won eight Scudetti in a row and Ronaldo was aiming to add to his already five Champions League trophies between Manchester United and Real Madrid.
But the report claims the scenario has changed from being ‘the deal of the century’ for Juventus to almost become ‘a prisoner’ of their star.
Ronaldo’s deal expires in 2022, but Calciomercato.com reports the forward will meet with the club after the season to discuss the future.
Juventus are, according to the outlet, ready to say farewell to the Portuguese star, but there are a couple of aspects to consider.
There are no concrete offers and there’s a problem with taxes. The report reveals that if Ronaldo leaves Turin, he would be forced to give up the fiscal benefits that only Italy can offer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The interesting part is that the report comes from La Repubblica which IIRC is 50% owned by Exor.
