Max Allegri ‘was close’ to replacing Antonio Conte at Inter and has a bad rapport at Juventus with everyone except President Andrea Agnelli, claims his mentor Giovanni Galeone.

Now retired coach Galeone is still close friends with Allegri and they meet up regularly in Tuscany.

“He had been very close to Inter, but then Conte got back to having a normal rapport with the club,” Galeone told Radio Kiss Kiss.

There were also suggestions Allegri could go back to Juventus after Maurizio Sarri was sacked.

“Max still gets along very well with Agnelli, but only Agnelli, and that might not have been enough to seal his return. I can say that he confessed his desire to get back out there, so he’s ready to go.”

If the Pirlo experiment fails, Agnelli should bring the man back and sack everyone who has a problem with Allegri. Well, except if it's Ronaldo or Dybala.

I remember Ronaldo sent a grazie mister message on Instagram but Dybala didn't. Even though the latter spent 4 years with Allegri compared to only one season for Ronaldo.
