Tottenham lost last night and were lucky not to concede few more. How did they compete? Ajax is underrated around here. It's prolly their best generation since '94, with Davids, Seedorf, Kluivert, etc...
Yeah no shit they lost but wasn't that the same spurs defence Allegri dimmed weaker than Lazio?
How did spurs do worse than us? We were lucky we didn't go down by 3-4 goals too or did you forget? Ajax could still beat us even if Max got his shit right, that is football but the fact is he didn't. Ajax did not face our best and that is on Max.. dude needs to STFU and start finding solutions.

None of this shit matters, player X position Y tactic Z this bullshit distracts from our real problem

Which is that under Max we never show up unless we ABSOLUTELY have to.

It's a mental disorder strategy that invites a weak enemy into the game and gives them confidence, while robbing us of our own confidence. I just want to know, why is it not possible to keep playing well after away goal in Amsterdam or first goal against Manchester.

I am not talking about attacking football like you Pep boys etc, I am talking about physical presence on the pitch, fighting for every ball, motivation.

Don't tell me we are tried. We have no competition in Serie A and gave the Coppa away

He can take his butchers and fuck off to Bongistan if he can't motivate the team anymore
Too cautious? I think it's more lack of ideas which makes him want to play that way than the idea of playing it safe. Nobody hated Conte stubborn ways more than me, then again he got nothing on Max in that regard..at least conte had guts..I swear with the confidence and grinta he instills into his team with this attack, we would wipe the floor with Ajax with Conte intensity. Anyway You are right we are lacking this in a major way.

Get Maxx some EPL fitness coaches. Imagine if we could combine their endless running with an actual coach? :tuttosport:
It's not the coaches it's the black players with great running ethic in EPL, sell lazy arabs like Khedira and Can and bring strong africans like Kante

Like Matuidi or Costa who can't do much but run a lot

Who wanted Klopp to replace allegri lol.
Barca is a great example of how the have a balanced team. Good strong midfield and defence and then they let the attack do the work. No old static players like mandzukic or brainless runners like matuidi.

I just wish we could get the old Allegri back. I remember how we loved his football and saw the difference after Conte left. He started adapting this more coward approach the last 2 seasons.
Let's hope he snaps out of it.

Do you not remember Bayern 2016?

The only time we played defensively but actually had an out to hurt opponents with Morata on the counter attack after the 2015 team got dismantled

He made critical mistakes in both matches and was the reason we got knocked out, he almost got away with the mistakes but in the end the better team went through

That for me was the start of when I first doubted Allegri, that first 45 minutes against Bayern at home was hard to watch

I hate to agree with IgorTudor but motivation has been a huge problem with Allegri. It’s impossible to know what happens behind the curtains as to why this happens but you only need eyes to see we only give our all when there’s no other option.

It’s like we need to be in a extremely fucked up position in order to wake up and show a fighting spirit, otherwise we’ll play the typical careless and unable to pass the ball properly.

At pre season I thought it was a mistake to keep Allegri for this season and I still think it’s a mistake to give him another season. But of course maybe there aren’t any better choices out there at the moment so we might as well just stick with what we have.

First leg, parking the bus in the first 45 minutes allowing Bayern to dominate possession and chances keeping us cramped in our own half which allowed Bayern to race into a 2-0 lead

Second leg taking Morata off and putting Mandzukic on which allowed Bayern to move their defensive line further forward 20 yards surrendering all initiative and parking the bus again, he should have put Zaza on if he was going to take Morata off because once Mandzukic came on we had no counter attack anymore which played directly into bayern's hands

His overly defensive mindset hinders us especially when we have no counter attack in Europe, I don't mind playing deep and defensive but there has to be an outlet to relieve pressure with a counter attack
