First leg, parking the bus in the first 45 minutes allowing Bayern to dominate possession and chances keeping us cramped in our own half which allowed Bayern to race into a 2-0 lead

Second leg taking Morata off and putting Mandzukic on which allowed Bayern to move their defensive line further forward 20 yards surrendering all initiative and parking the bus again, he should have put Zaza on if he was going to take Morata off because once Mandzukic came on we had no counter attack anymore which played directly into bayern's hands

His overly defensive mindset hinders us especially when we have no counter attack in Europe, I don't mind playing deep and defensive but there has to be an outlet to relieve pressure with a counter attack

Not bringing Zaza on is considered a mistake now? Simone fucking Zaza? Come on!

Zaza can run which would have kept their defensive line deeper as he could counter
Or he would've murdered someone with more or less equal probability. We're talking about a man who plays for Torino at his prime age.
We lost that match because we missed Chiellini, Marchisio and Dybala. God knows what Max does to their muscles every year.

We lost that match because we had a legit onside goal by Morata (he was about a metre onside ffs) disallowed. Which would have had Bayern needing 4 goals in regular time.

Of course, you are right, ridiculous injuries didn’t help. Nor did Evra going full retard outside our box with a minute left.

Although that Morata goal was at 0-1, and would've made it 0-2. We were very unlucky. Cuadrado hit the post from point blank could've killed it. I had nightmares about that chance for a while.

Yeah. It was at 1-0, so you never know what happens after that, but that was still right in the middle of our dominant 60 minutes of that match so I wouldn’t be surprised to still see us scoring a 3rd.

That was our year. We were in such wicked form. Evra’s fuck up was such a nightmare.
