The Ronaldo signing hampered our ability to fill in our weaknesses mainly midfield

I can't blame the club for signing him because what he does for the club in the long term branding is key to our global reach and Ronaldo delivers on the pitch as well, it was a signing that we couldn't turn down

Secondly Allegri is not able to get the best out the squad available to him that is why I think we should have either backed him with more transfers and sold Dybala since he's a waste of space under Allegri who has no idea what to do with him

There is no point keeping Allegri if he isn't given the players he needs to improve the team but then again he has quite a good squad already available to him so he is also to blame for the poor performances and tactics

Mandzukic is everything that is wrong with this club, starting an attacker so he can contribute defensively is always going to hamper our CL chances when it implements a defence first approach surrendering the initiative to our opponents allowing them to dictate the tempo of the game

Midfield definitely needed to be addressed last summer but it was overlooked due to Ronaldo coming in, Allegri needs to do a lot better himself as well and also Dybala is a total miss match with Allegri as manager, so there are lots of problems with this team and I think 50% of the blame at least should go to Allegri but it's not all his fault as our team have prioritised the wrong areas to fix

All in all there is still quite a big mess to fix here and we also have a very aging squad at the same time, I think next season will be another wasted year in terms of CL progress as well because there are too many problems to fix in one season

Look at PSG in the last 3 years. They have consistently spent big money on big players but never done anything in the ucl despite being comfortable in the league most of the time. Why? they had an unbalanced midfield with no real DM (thiago motta and marquinhos temporarily).
Midfield is the answer

Of course not, but he's too stubborn. Our failure in the CL over the past couple of seasons is not, obviously, only on him, but he definitely has to bear the brunt, at least partially. His cautious/defensive approach, injuries, and lack of an attacking gameplan resulted in our elimination.
I dont know about past couple of seasons but this season i would say its mostly on him. The reason is that in the past we didnt have a proven answer in attack and that covered up some of Allegri deficiencies and acted as excuse for him.. but now its much more clearer..I mean look at the decisions he made match after match I think Agnelli patience will hurt us in the long run.
He is limited and this was never clearer than against atletico and ajax. He is not just clueless about attacking options, it seems he is clueless all together at times..
I refused to believe this is true but leg 2 vs ajax shows a plain and naive approach..

You got an away goal lead, you are going to play the second leg. You got your captain/best defender/person who starts most counter attacks out,
you play a quick team with strong midfield, you put in matuidi and can with zero ball holding ability when ajax play a fucking 4213..451 or 352 our wingbacks would counter and completely nulify thier attack.. with players we had he should have gone with 5 man midfield to choke the shit out of them and get something going forward with spina, or at least should have done this at halftime which he has no ability to do because the team is not prepared to make such a switch..to further fuck ourselves up the ass he takes
out dybala who can actually hold the ball for kean? lol Big time fuck up in the CL. BIG TIME. Max as a coach at this level just doesnt cut it simple as that got zero doubts about that now.

I am not surprised that Allegri wants to leave with the amount of criticism faced by him on social media and juventuz forums it has affected him it is a thankless job unless we win the champions League everything else is considered failure
