I don't agree with the second part but we definitely should've, we lacked any sort of compusre
We needed to make them run but we did the opposite
Was curious to see how much we ran with the ball and ajax just waited. as soon as they were gifted it back, they ran 20 meters forward and thats it, passing it around seeing us run

Ten Hag would make Dybala, Bernardeschi and Kean look amazing

Allegri would make Tadic, Ziyech and Neres look average.

It's all about levels.
Oh now it's Ten Hag dick sucking time. Honest question: when was the first time you heard his name?
There's no denying that this team is not playing to its potential, but even at full potential we would've lost. I'm certain of that.

Allegri: "On Saturday we have the chance to win the eighth consecutive Scudetto, we won the super Cup & for the last 5-6 years we are in the CL quarter-finals so it's Overall positive."

The best team Allegri produced was the 2014-2015 one. Really we should have won that CL.

We had Tevez and Morata (great in CL) in front and we had one of the best midfields I had ever seen. Prime Marchiso, Pogba, Vidal, Pirlo,..

That team was gorgeous down to the fucking jerseys. Man, I loved that team.

And Allegri had a big part in creating it.

Btw that team would have won today. No doubt about it.

that was a Juventus with an awesome XI and a game plan.
FAST COUNTERS. We did it flawlessly we crushed on the best Barcellona of the bast 30years.
Simply too much to play against.
The only weak points in that team were Lichsteiner and Evrà.
Imagine if instead we had Dani Alves and the best Sandro?

But that's it.
After that Juventus lost his key players in the mid and failed to replace them.
I mean...

Buffon was still Buffon
Chiellini-Bonucci-Barzagli at their peak
Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba at their best
Tevez and Morata. Tevez was a warrior. Morata nothing awesome just a fast poacher but was good in CL.

Our only weakness were a good runner that coudn't cross nor pass.
Old Evrà holding is place as defender but nothing else.
He also costed us in 2016 with Bayern...

You'd be wrong.

I challenge you to find a single person on this forum who thought that Ajax has a better team than us when this draw was made. Go ahead.

You won't find any, because this idea that Ajax have a better team than us is delusional revisionism by Allegri defenders on here.

That is the problem we start the game well than we are literally dominated by this Ajax side in the second half in both the first leg and second leg I don't know whether the coach gives instructions to slow down or it is due to an ageing squad
Not sure about the first leg, I thought that Ajax was pretty gassed after 60-70min+, the bad thing is that this time they didn't - we were the ones chasing and pressing much more from the start

Max couldn't have set up the team better, the entire team is fucked by injuries anyways, Bentancur sub for Berna says it all, he didn't have any better options
Regarding slowing down - idk if it's the players or Max, in any case these players (except for maybe 2 or 3) can't play 90mins with the same intensity as they started this match.

I'm not defending Max or rejecting him for the future, but he did play whatever he could - Dyb, Ronaldo, Kean, Berna... this was our strongest 11.
