Dont get what u mean. Our core last couple of years has been BBC + 1-2 good mids and offense player. Pjanic (Pirlo & Vidal before). Tevez was huge. Dybala is trying to emulate that but inconsistent. Higuain was wrong buy for CL ambitions.

Max has said repeatedly that he sets the team up for Dybala to find space outside the box for shooting opportunities. He is good at those situations. But the expected goals from that scenario will be low.

However, Max recognizes that Dybala has a strength in this area so Higuain pins CBs back and Dybala tries to find space underneath him to shoot.

That's the most you can create when you don't have CMs in your team that can dribble a ball and fullbacks that are non-existent.

I don't understand this "individual brilliance" thing. Do we regularly see Dybala and Higuain $#@!ing slaloming the opposition and hitting top corner? They basically score every goal from inside the box or just outside. How the $#@! does the ball get there? Magnets?

Sandro was supposed to be pretty good offensively.

Costa is supposed to dribble and create.


I think we cant make full conclusions after yesterday. Put Pjanic and Benatia there and game could be very different. Truth be told although Khedira played better yesterday than final we need upgrade. He has those flashes. Like the Milan game. Assist and goal. But he isnt going to be difference maker in CL ties against the big guns anymore.

I disliked the Sandro LW. Also cause i think Costa is better suited LW so he will be less effective RW and u end up both flanks being less effective.

Atalanta have created more chances than us this season. What does that tell you about Allegri?

Allegri doesn’t get punished in Serie A for his incompetence because our players are way better than anyone else. In the Champions League, where his superior players advantage disappears, he has been utterly humiliated by both Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Well the issue there is also a little more to do with the foreigners rule being removed. Once it became easy to buy younger foreigners and a ton of them focus on Italian youth was back burned. We need to cap the foreigners back to 7. Serie a was at its highest when the majority of players were Italian on teams. As a side note the national team is struggling for the same reason

We could easily buy Barella and Torreira if we really tried. I doubt Allegri wants them though. He prefers older, more experienced players. He also likes tall midfielders to play his outdated football.

Thats why i said buy top midfielder to replace Khedira.

Our past core was Buffon-Chil-Bon-Pirlo-Vidal-Tevez.

We had 5 of those players since 2011. We added Tevez 2013.

Then its easy to add supporting cast lets say to that core which we did in Evra-Morata-Pogba (getting older and more mature).

Evra and Morata contributions to our 2015 final run were huge. And they were not expensive additions cause we already had the core.


The new core. Well it doesnt happen overnight thats why its important to start putting in faith to younger players now.

We keep signing them no? Dybala,Rugani,Berna,Bentancur. Id argue we actually sign more young talent now than under Conte years where it was basically Pogba and Morata wasnt exactly long term signing for us.

Some are young and havent grown full potential yet some have. And we have signed from foreign markets succesfully as well in the past. I dont see the big problem.

But this summer and potentially next are key for new cycle and we need to spend. The q is if we need to sacrifice a Dybala and Sandro for that though.

I don't think we've been humiliated by Barca. I do agree that Madrid humiliated us. But who else can do better. I feel allegri is a huge upgrade to Conte in Europe. Maybe Ancelotti?

Barca beat us 3-0 at their home, but somehow the 0-0 in Turin was even worse. They benched Messi and were only looking for a draw, and we still looked completely clueless.


Ancelotti is past his prime and I don’t think he’d want to come here. We need a new manager who can teach us how to attack like a team. A manager with fresh ideas. I don’t care if it’s Pochettino, Tuchel, Jardim, Sarri, Inzaghi...


Allegri’s cycle here is finished. He’s done a fantastic job for Juve, but it feels like he is running out of ideas.

I'm absolutely positive Allegri would prefer a 4-3-3 but in that scenario you're basically benching a "100M striker" (either Higuain or Dybala) for Matuidi, Marchisio or something.

Marotta has to fix this problem. This giant, huge problem our team has. And that is Higuain/Dybala have no chemistry and are not good enough to ask the team to defend with only 8 instead of 9.

I dont think Allegri will leave but if he does - I hope our board get us a tactican but one who like to attack - I think this is a change that must be inserted into Italian football
P.S Im not referring to Napoli when Im saying attack as I think Napoli style of play is ridiculous as they always do the same things and Im really surprised the league didnt realize it yet - Napoli shouldnt be that hard to handle if you play the right way..

Would you say that a swap of Griezmann+50M for Dybala would be a good one for us?
