Ousting Dybala out of the club while playing Mandzukic and Cuadrado is very short sighted, a decision we'll regret in the long run.
If you haven't learned by now to trust our club or coach for their long term objectives then i'm not sure what else to tell you.

Szczesny
Barzagli Benatia Chiellini Sandro
Khedira Pjanic Matuidi
Cuadrado Higuain Mandzukic

Dybala
Pjaca Bernardeschi Douglas
Bentancur Marchisio
Asamoah Rugani Howedes Lichtsteiner
Buffon

One thing is for sure, both teams are better than Roma

But those if 2 teams vs each other who would win?
Looking at the teams like this it shows where being able to create a good and professional atmosphere, managing the squad and opportunities, and creating diverse approaches are the main challenges for Allegri. When Marotta talks about the difficulty in improving the squad you have to factor the size and quality of the squad. Yes we could improve that list player-for-player, but are those better players going to sit on the bench for as long as some of our players do?

I think Allegri rotates the squad well but there are several important players there who probably wish that they play more. That balance is the challenge every year.

We play a 4231 that almost wins us a treble...we then buy two wingers to better that line up yet they cant be implemented.

We start the season and figure out our defense is weaker...no shite sherlock, so alllegri opts to change the formation and adds an additional midfielder and overall we are more balanced. We stop leaking goals but somehow we have our 3 most creative players sitting on bench.

And in the end we will go far in the CL yet we wont win it cuz the teams we lose to have the exact type of creative players that we bench starting and scoring important goals and making the difference in a qtr semi or final.

We then come to these forums bitch about not having creative talent who play exciting football and bring home the CL trophy.

I like allegri but FFS get your drawing board place dybala bernardeschi costa and higgy on it and work out the rest quick smart!

You mean Messi or Ronaldo?

We lose to teams with Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Ronaldo, etc. We don't lose to teams with Bernardeschi.

lol. the only teams Max lost to were Barcelona, Bayern and Madrid. and he would have probably beaten Bayern if not for Moratas disallowed goal. but lets walk away from what he built and made us great in the 1st place to emulate teams we roflstomped in the last 3 years. tuz :touched:

Higuain, Mandzukic, Cuadrado, Matuidi and Khedira is just too many grinta players and not enough skillful players. You need to have a nice balance of both to win in Europe, we don't have that balance right now. Apart from Pjanic, all our creative players are somehow on the bench.

We can overpower teams like Roma and Napoli, and we will probably be able to overpower Tottenham (since they are on that level). But when we play a real top team, the weaknesses of this side will get exposed.

Max even beat Ronaldo and Messi in the past 3 years. Actually when you think about it, Max has only been knocked out by teams with far superior talent. If the talent is even remotely close, he has always won.

i the last 4 seasons (aka, since Mourinho left and Real really made a step up), these 2 lost only to:

Simeones Atletico
Allegris Juventus

no one beat both in the same season, which was a requirement to lift the trophy in each of the 4 seasons (and something that has never been done). something to think about

The player who scored the final goal and knocked us out in 2015/16 was Coman, a guy deemed not good enough by Max in the previous season. He was rotting on the bench for us, now he’s a star at Bayern. :touched:

The way Max handles his attacking talent is very reminiscent of Mourinho at Chelsea. Around 2013, Chelsea had De Bruyne, Salah and Lukaku. Mourinho didn’t think any of them were worthy enough, and sold them all. Four years later, those 3 players are 3 of the best in the league and all play for Chelsea’s rivals.

Right now, Dybala has been benched for personal reasons, Berna can’t get in the first team no matter how well he plays, and Pjaca has gotten about 5 minutes of game time since he arrived here 1.5 years ago. I have a strong feeling that we’re gonna regret this in the near future.

Complaining about Pjaca's playing time :howler:

Higuain-Dybala
Mandzuic-Bernardeschi-Pjanic-Costa
Alex Sandro-Chiellini-Pjaca-Cuadrado
Moise Kean

No regrets :tuttosport:

Oh and thinking Allegri controls the transfers :howler:
The moment he steps out of line is the moment he gets shipped out like Conte. Marotta controls the transfers. If Max wants a 12M purchase like De Sciglio then fine.

can you please replace Moise with someone else? his passing is not good enough for a goalie, though he can be very useful on set pieces late in must win games

Last season, Pjaca started 4 out of a potential 30 games when he was fit. At the start of last season we had zero inspiration going forward and Pjaca had just came off a good Euro campaign, but Max still didn’t give him more than 5 minutes at the end of a game even when it was blatantly obvious that we needed someone other than Dybala to give us some creativity.

Berna can’t get a run in the first team no matter how well he plays. Berna has generally played well whenever he’s been given a chance. It’s December now and Berna still hasn’t started two consecutive games, that is inexcusable. How is a young player supposed to develop himself or any chemistry with the team when he can’t get good gametime?

Allegri is also doing his best to oust Dybala out of the team.

But yeah, but let’s keep pretending that Max is doing a perfect job and everything is great. God forbid if anyone actually has valid criticism for Max.

Costa isn't exactly young anymore, but he’s another player who has played very well but can’t a run of games. Mandzukic, Higuain and Cuadrado have the licence to play as good or bad as they want, they won’t lose their place.

I just proposed a formation with Dybala, Higuain, Cuadrado, Mandzukic, Costa, Bernardeschi and Pjaca in it. What more do you want. They will all get equal playing time like that.
