We are playing as though we don't have a formation. I know he wants us to be flexible but we don't seem to know how to play a single system properly.

Don't know what he said at half time but we were awful in the second half, after starting the game well.

Out of all the games to play 4-3-1-2, it was not this one. This was a tailor made counter attacking game. Alex Sandro and Cuadrado would have cut this team to pieces and they barely played!

Shocking stuff from Allegri I have to say. The tactics wrote themselves here and he goes for some sort of possession formation with 2 #9s. I don't understand.

We don't have a SS right now but in this game we had the luxury of knowing Lyon has to attack us. It's like a gift to know the other team has only one option. So you have the chance to play a 4-3-3 without the need for a SS but you still can't do it..

:agree:

Look how easily Alex Sandro got past his man when he came on and Cuadrado's goal in the first leg. Lyon are weak defensively on the wings and we decided to play without any attacking width.

Freaking Lyon pinned us back at J Stadium. This team will lose to Sevilla, end up 2nd and definitely not get pass the 16 round. And it's NOT Allegri's fault.
