Doomed because now we have some quality wingers and our coach is persisting with not using them as wingers
It doesn't take that much brain cells to see that both sandro and alves alone on their flanks often gave us the edge in offense, so why not adding someone like pjaca or quadrado in front of them? It doesn't even have to be both of them, asymmetrical formation can be just fine
But no, allegri is persisting pjaca as ss just like conte did with coman

IMO this team has many problems right now and we're making childish errors.
1. We're probably the worst team in Europe when defending corners - 3 goals conceded from 5 official matches. This is ridiculous even for a relegation battler.
2. Our midfield is static, sometimes there's no movement at all.
3. We're totally Dybala dependent and this kid is already tired since we expect from him to chase defenders all the time. On top of it, players with pace that can change the tempo of the game are rotting on the bench. Pjaca gets like 5-6 minutes a game and Cuadrado is nowhere to be seen.

So the 3-5-2 formation is the exact problem. Not how we utilize the players in the system, what tactics/stategies the formation consist of and so on.
That's like claiming democracy is the problem if you disagree with your government. I can't believe people are this dogmatic when it comes to a formation - just change the formation and all of sudden things will be fine?
Last night the formation wasn't the biggest problem. Underperforming players, a weak attitude, no tactical answers to the Inter midfield/tactics (Pjanic moved to B2B and Lemina/Khedira at DM should have been tried), lack of clear leader in midfield/attack and so on; changing the formation or putting a specific player in the starting lineup would most likely not have changed this, the problems last night were much bigger. Obviously that is guess work, but as bad as we played last night, calling out the formation or starting Licht as a mean to solve the issues is just too simpleton'sk. Our 3-man midfield was outplayed and outhussled by Inter, how would starting Cuadrado have changed this? How would 4-3-3 have changed this?

Lemina needs to play in front of the defense. It's no coincidence that we have looked better when he has played there. Pjanic needs to be closer to goal and do what he does best. This will enable Dybala to play closer to goal. Our strikers were far too isolated. I'd be tempted to try Pjaca in that LCM position however, he has the dynamism to be effective there, play more as Pogba did, hug the wing.
If dybala has to play this close to the midfield Higuain has to play if we do that as he attacks the space and runs in behind.

Well, yeah. Nothing really to disagree with in the first part.
Pjaca seems like a bit of stretch. Dude's young and not the terrier we needed last night. Would have been bossed by the Inter midfield.
My problem with a lot of the 3-5-2 shit posting (not all of it), is the idea that A happened 'cause of B (3-5-2, Lichtsteiner starting etc.).
But if we start with a similar lineup against Cagliari and take home a solid win, then what? (this is not targeted towards you btw.)

In a 4-4-2 Lemina would have to play for sure, who do you put next to him? Pjanic? Probably not, it would have to be Khedira.
It is just a matter of finding the balance in the midfield.

Last night went sour due to multiple reasons. Allegri must solve these and find solid solutions. Again focussing so dogmatic on a formation will give you no credible answers. People are staring so hard at one minor detail, they fail to see the bigger picture.
Barcelona lost at home against Alaves playing a 4-3-3. The 4-3-3 formation clearly isn't working for Barca. If Barca wanna win they must change formation.
