Pereyra needs to find his touch. Then a 4-3-1-2 might look more lively than it did against Bologna. I still think we haven't seen his very best yet. Dybala plus an inform Pereyra would add a lot of missing creativity. One very stark flaw in the way we played against Bologna was our lack of width. To break down a team which has parked the bus you need width to stretch them. I can't tell if that's symptomatic of a narrow formation or if it's on the players.

Allegri: 'A lot in common with Guardiola'
By Football Italia staff

Juventus Coach Max Allegri thinks he “has a lot in common” with Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola.

The pair will face off in Turin for the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday evening.

“I admire Guardiola a great deal, as his Barcelona side had so much class,” Allegri told German paper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

“I think we have a lot in common. We were both midfielders, as most Coaches are, and we both had good technique.

“I was never a champion, of course. I find it fascinating that a mid-level player can become a good Coach.

“Of course we study the opposition, but it wouldn’t make sense to spend 24 hours a day on that, it’d drive me crazy.

“I always tell my players: you form the system. They have to be happy playing, otherwise there’s no point stepping on to the pitch.

“I seek inspiration regarding the tactical system to use until the day before the game, then I choose the line-up and I often modify it during the match.”
he is just being nice

Allegri admits admiring Guardiola a great deal. It now seems likely that the talented Italian midfield player will be the first major signing for Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

You're welcome British tabloids, this one is for free.

If I could I would sack him during half time.

He can beat Genoas all day long, where it counts he is shaming us in the eyes of millions of people with his pussy as tactics.

The only good thing about tonight is that Barca is playing too so most are not watching us.

Disgrace.

Like I said after Conte doing similar shit, if we want to build a fucking team and play good old fashioned counter attacking football then I can accept that. But we just approach games like this with the intention of defending for 90 fucking minutes and hoofing it up the pitch to nobody or my personal favourite, lob it around 2-3 times then concede a throw in.

This season was always going to be a makeshift one. It's just unfortunate that we got Bayern so early. Hopefully some of our young players can learn for next time and move on next year.
