Guys, why are some of you so critical of Conte? Is it not enough that he is a Juve legend and he pulled us out by the scruff of our necks and resurrected our brand, our identity and our sense of belonging? I find it a tad bit unfair that he comes in for criticism for the kind of football that he played just because he's not with us anymore. Fact is, if we we ever were to hit a bumpy patch again, and he was one of the available coaches, a majority of you guys would take him back in a heartbeat.

You'll could argue that we are only comparing him to his successor. But that comparison is just unfair. They have two different styles, they have two different teams on a technical level. And most importantly, a lot of you guys forget that even the current winning streak is coming from the base that Conte created with that 352 variant. Let's cut the guy some slack and show him a little more respect.

When it's all said and done, Allegri and Conte will both hold their place in our history and legend, and while Allegri has some work to do to get to the pedestal we all want to see, it shouldn't detract from his work or that of his predecessor.

Let's just give them both their pride of place and give them the respect they deserve.

I don't get why would Allegri want to leave after just 2 seasons.

The only sensible reason I can think about is that he wants to decide about transfers which will never happen in Italy.

Chelsea won't even be in the CL next season, why would he leave us for them? Unless he wants to really experience a new league and can't wait any longer.

On a season by season basis, Conte's teams always created more chances than Allegri's teams. Tevez and Llorente seemed to add a lot of efficiency to the team though.

In terms of creativity during the group stage, I cant find stats for Conte's first CL run (the good one) but I found the stats for the bad one 2013/14 and we still created more than we did during the group stages last season and the current.
UCL Chances created in group stage
2013/14 88 Chances
2014/15 68 Chances
2015/16 78 Chances

So it seems we really did choke badly that season especially the attack that wasted so much.
The difference in mentality is huge. With Allegri we want to compete with the likes of Bayern and Real (Barca may be a step too far at the moment.) With Conte we wanted to compete with teams like Galatasaray and Shakhtar.

These shitty ass tabloids make me laugh. 3 months ago Allegri was a useless clown who deserved to be sacked for ruining Juve, now apparently he's wanted in the EPL and has already signed a deal with Chelsea (even though he still has a contract with us for another season and a half) yet the gullible morons will still eat up these rumours.

Some people here claim we had a better team in 2012/2013

But allegri did face an overhaul, so its normal his stats are tanking despite superior teams
Idk about better team, but we had arguably one of the best midfield in the world at the time. Barzagli was the ultimate beast, but bonnuci really shone after conte last season, and at allegri 1st season.

To sums it up: We had better team right now, but we're not as strong as 2012/2014 in midfield. Defense wise we're about the same.

And we cant judge whos better solely from those stats, when conte reigns, serie A much weaker than now. One could say allegri have a better teams, but he's also have much better opponent.
