Proved once again that he is tactically the best Italian manager. He reads the game perfectly, from his subs you can tell, to his post match statements.

Just give him full squad, a little bit more time and he will sprint faster than expected.

Player for player, of course Madrids squad was stronger than ours last season. And to defeat a seasoned pro and master in CL football like Ancelotti with that team is no easy feat.

That doesn't make him better than an experienced proven winner like Carlo.
Tactics alone don't define a good manager.Otherwise Bielsa would be no.1 in the world.
I still believe Conte and Ancelotti are the two best Italian coaches at present.

so many things make a great coach. one of them is tactical knowledge, which is allegri's main asset probably, and an other one is being a team builder, a motivator, a true leader. i guess allegri should work on the latter. anyway, i wouldn't swap allegri for either conte or ancelotti at the moment, even though i also rate them higher than allegri.

He just has one scudetto and one EPL.

Why is jury still out on him? What he did with Viola for few seasons was more impressive then Ventura and Sarri Imo. Don't let the last season sour things .
