Sacking Allegri will not be stupid if we keep losing pts, it will be an inevitable outcome due to failure, its that simple. Its another matter if we can improve on him.
Normally I'd agree with you but then I look at our options (cause we know the next coach would be an average to mediocre Italian) and stupid is sacking Allegri.

It will be stupid because what makes you think other coaches can get points with this team? Allegri has shown that he is an elite coach who can deliver results. Why get rid of that instead of improving the team?
He's an elite coach when he inherits a ready made squad with top class, experienced players who already know each others every move. This is a different kind of test that will tell us whether he really is a world class manager or not.
