But the season was supposedly starting today...

- - - Updated - - -

Judging by his comments and the players, our objective is to finish the season in the top 3. This year the Scudetto is out of reach.
that is so underwhelming but hard to disagree with you there

So how about quit being an "ungrateful swine" yourself and realize that Marotta and co built the team that allowed Conte to run riot over Serie A.

And take your own advice and wait until we're at least decently into the season as in 10-12 Serie A rounds and 3-4 CL games before you declare this to be some disastrous lost season, and half the players on the team to be scrubs unworthy of wearing a Juventus jersey. You sound like some spoiled, entitled, weiner.
and what about the team marotta built before Conte arrived, and what about the team marotta has built now?

Well ,looking over your posts and all that nonsense hailing at the mercato thread/Marotta/Allegri threads and comparing them to team display ,make my posts a rocket science posts to your's.Just continue to be optimistic and defend with more effort.Make a lot of sense.Especially do that after City game.
I have 4 straight league trophies, a CL final finish, 1 Coppa and a couple other trophies in my optimistic paradise trophy cabinet that pretty much highlight what little sense you have never made on this forum.

Keep em coming.

oh stop this nonsense and repeating history over and over. talking about last season or what we won the season before isn't going to prove shit if this team doesn't win shit or have a decent run in europe this season
Isn't it you always reminding us what Conte won?

Fucking hypocrite

That is because some clearly forget what he won because they are too butt hurt to accept the reasons and the manner in which he left. Even so this season has nothing to do with Conte or his errors. It is solely on the management but you choose to hide and delude yourself in stats about possession rather than watching the game and discovering how dysfuntional and disorganised this team looks right now, our defence looks exposed, midfield is not even industrious as it once was, and can't even link up with the attackers. Worst part is we have dropped points to very beatable teams

You have all that trophies? Oh ,than is a different story. They are my trophies as well you "optimistic " dumbass And only last Serie A trophy, and Coppa are under Allegri.
And I didn't know that being in a CL final counts.I thought that only a win counts but since you are optimistic count that too.
Live long in your paradise trophy cabinet.Maybe you won't notice that it doesn't exist in the real world.

and what about the team marotta built before Conte arrived, and what about the team marotta has built now?
What the fuck are you talking about? Marotta was here 1 season before Conte. Do you know who he brought in during those first 2 transfer windows before Conte... Several players instrumental to our scudetti. Barzagli, Bonucci, Matri, Quags, Pepe, Storari.

No one has said Marotta doesn't make mistakes. But the only 3 players that were a part of the 4 scudetti run not brought in by Marotta were Buffon, Marchisio, Chiellini. He brought in 8 starters in two seasons, and turned a 7th place team into the unbeaten team, and a team that would win 4 scudetti, a Coppa Italia, and go to a CL final with a few key signings each summer since.

How the heck do you disparage that? It's beyond ridiculous. It's gross ignorance of facts.

If we don't win the scudetto this season, as long as we qualify for CL, I'll be disappointed, but I really won't be too miffed. There's a reason teams never win 5 straight titles, in any of the big leagues. If Marotta transitioned a very old team into a young and exciting team with massive potential, and Allegri manages to stay in the CL places, and get out of group stage in CL, I'll consider this season a success. I'll expect a much better season 2 for this revitalized team.

After a cold shower and calm down and read allegri's post game review, I can breathe now.

If I put aside our worst beginning, our lack of a game plan and our looser behavior.

Allegri really had like 10 days at most with the entire squad. We couldn't do worst than this

You just don't give up. It's like arguing with a child. You have absolutely no point here.

Ignore the fact that everyone acknowledges he has made mistakes. But he created a team from scratch around 3 players-Marchisio, Buffon, Chiellini- and turned into a Serie A juggernaut in just 2 summers. He also more than made up for hiring Del Neri by firing him and hiring Conte first and then Allegri 2nd.

You have to be unbelievably stupid to think Marotta has done anything but a fantastic job over the last 5 years. 4 straight scudetti, a first Coppa in 20 years, and a first CL final since 2003 attest to that.
