Yeah very hopeless

Player getting asked about us and doesnt plain refuse it, every media reporting it, consistend news that seeps out isnt consistantly contradicting each other(like is the case with draxler) and most big reporters are on it.

A would offer nothing to the team. Absolutely nothing. Its perhaps the most stacked position after striker. There is no way around the aquisition of a cam. We'll get one.

if you find it "hopeless", better come up with some information that backs it up

Isnt there a way to shop vidal and his ferrari into it ? :D
Dude these are the same reporters that you told me to ignore when I said slow down could be we are assesing future of Pogba before our next move, remember? What changed now?

Midfeild has always been our strongest point with atleast 4 quality players throughout season. Just because we have cover doesnt mean we are not weakening that position by selling Vidal.

When selling vidal, we allways weaken the midfield. And there is nobody we can get for any money that would improve the midfield. A fit Khedira is a very very good player in this juventus team. Marchisio and Pogba are worldclass at their specific positions.

The situation is unique here. Juventus must get a cam and our board and coach make a mission of it. Bayern's board have been very vague at best. Their Coach pretty much said its not his problem, the player praised juventus+considered playing abroad+gave an interview that would scare me if i were a bayern fan. We get consistant reports, wich have been pretty consistant since vidal. Its obvious and confirmed we are in negotiations with the player and its confirmed bayern permits it, aka we got agreement with bayern.

Draxler ? What about him ? We have not seen our board, their board, player or agent respond about it. All we know about Draxler is what Di Marzio reports. Wich is a whole lot of inconsistant nothing.

Fact is that Di Marzio was too late on Vidal. He was too late on Götze. He's now allmost singlehandedly making his own thread about Draxler to stay relevant.

Pogba ? Juventus Board was very clear about it. reports were accurate about Barcelona meeting us, but Marotta has confirmed what he said before : we dont sell.

There is a thing thats simular. In the Pogba situation, reports were correct about meeting of boards about him. They were accurate about the offer of barcelona. They were wrong when they started confirming shit, and little later Marotta confirmed he rejected it, later also confirmed by barcelona.

Götze ? Same thing. We also know price and negotiations. And thats all we can trust from this point on. We now also look at boards and player how they respond. I'm very certain marotta or bayern's board will comment early this week, and we'll know where it is going

Fact is that we got an agreement with bayern, agreement with Götze about the therms, but need to convince the player to sign. So if no EPL side (psg, barca, real arent in this) steps in (dont think they will), that should be solved soon.

Did you read Gotzes reaction to his interview? Or quotes of pep and the other fck faces today. Compare that to Paratici's refusal commenting on this.

Thats 'backing up' my claim of this not looking likely :D

You havent changed a bit Zach, very stubborn on your views. Reminds me the time you argued the whole summer, just because I said Van persie would be best complete forward had in a while, only to change your tone two months into epl season.

Its fine if you disagree with my opinion (not facts), lets just wait tomorrow for some clarification.

Allegri: 'Juventus want trequartista’
By Football Italia staff

Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri confirms the club are in the market for an attacking midfielder.

The Bianconeri have been heavily linked with the likes of Mario Gotze, Julian Draxler and Oscar, and the tactician confirms they are seeking a player in that role.

“The club is trying to find a player with with attacking quality, who can raise the technical level of this team which already has so many good players,” Allegri explained in a Press conference alongside Giuseppe Marotta.

“In that role you need a very technical player, but at the same time we have to make sure we don’t upset the balance of the team.

“The most important thing is what the market offers, we’re considering what we can get, and especially what we need.

“We have clear ideas at this point. The first step is to get a more offensive player, then we’ll see.”

The former Milan Coach also discussed the departure of some key figures from last season, but believes there are adequate replacements for the likes of Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo.

“Pirlo left as a champion, who did extraordinary things for Juventus, elsewhere in Italy and for the national team, so I think Italian football is losing a player who is unlikely to ever be replaced.

“A player with his qualities is difficult to find, but life goes on. Andrea has made a choice for him, and I think for his future now he’s no longer a young lad.

“I was very pleased to see him this morning and say hello to him before he goes to America for his new adventure.

“In regard to the players we’ve lost, in addition to their technical qualities, it’s normal that we have to discuss their influence in terms of their personality.

“But those who came in… [Sami] Khedira played at Real Madrid for five years, [Mario] Mandzukic is a top-level player in Europe, and some young lads have come in who have great qualities.

“Let’s not forget that the captain [Gigi Buffon] has stayed, [Leonardo] Bonucci has stayed, [Giorgio] Chiellini has stayed, [Claudio] Marchisio has stayed, and the same goes for [Simone] Padoin.

“They’re all important players in the squad with big personalities. [Patrice] Evra is the same. I’m happy, we have time between now and August 31, and the club has time on the transfer market to refine the team.”

Gotze isn't coming. 6m + bonuses would imbalance the team wages.

The surprise would be Pado leaving us

People seem to mock him...but Allegri knows Padoin is a tactical genius. He will harbor and train him to be his understudy, the understudy who will become a coach like never seeing before in italy, and who will ultimately become the coach who will bring the next WC to Italy.

Allegry by that time, will be interviewed in his retirement house, surrounded by his daughters and grandsons.. and his interview will start like this: "Let me tell you, young ones...how i first met the great Padoin..."

Simone Padoin, remember that name.

he lost a lot of quality out there that needs to be replaced. The warrior in the middle, the playmaker who could score easy goals from set pieces and always created something out of nothing and the workhorse up front who scored more than 50 goals last 2 seasons.

Even if we get Götze, that is a lot of quality on the field that is not there anymore and with it we're now a weaker team.

largely depends on dybala's development
Dybala needs a few years to be as decicive as peak Tevez was. Tevez dragged this team to wins when we honestly weren't playing that well. He was a pitbull, it was more than just being a good footballer. His attitude was more valuable.

But the bigger issue is replacing the impact and massive presence that Vidal had ALL over the midfield. He combined that with points(assists and goals) for the team. Very unique skillset.

yep and also Morata and Pogba. Also with Khediras influence and how well he steps in.If Pogba steps up and continues his growth he will be the best midifleder in Itlay and better than most in the world. Top 3 I think this season. If Morata continues his form and grows even more with his bigger role than it wont be felt as badly. I think these thing will happen but the growth of Dybala and what we will miss/gain with Pirlo leaving is going to be interesting. Its a trade IMO and we will se what we miss from him in game play and what we gain from Marchisios abiliie

A good Khedira is very different, but also pretty damn good. Pogba however, needs to step up now. We had pretty little good Pogba last season. If he's consistantly excellent + cdm cheesio and a good khedira, our midfield is different but still excellent. Dare i say an excellent Pogba makes more impact then vidal ?

Thing is the cam tho. If we dont get Götze we are a lesser team, simple as that. A good Götze is something you dont remember.
