The Bianconeri played their first game of the summer, while it was the seventh for the Germans, and the difference in fitness levels was evident.

“We will find our fitness levels with time. We did some good things today and could’ve been better in controlling the ball, but we didn’t have the legs to keep up with Borussia Dortmund.”

Sami Khedira would’ve made his debut as well, but was left out after a muscular problem.

“I didn’t want to risk him, but he’s worked very well in training and will be very important this season.”

There are negotiations for Julian Draxler, while Mario Gotze is an alternative.

“We still need someone who can play between the lines,” confirmed Allegri. “We’re evaluating some options, but there’s time.

“Right now I am working with the squad at my disposal and the club did well on the market. Paulo Dybala has great technique and did good things today, as did Alvaro Morata. Mario Mandzukic didn’t get the right service.

“We want to challenge for every trophy right to the end.

I repeat no more Morata on the wing please, no reason to play him out of Position just to accomodate Mandzukic who is the inferior player.

He is, Morata as a CF is better, so you want to play Morata as winger just to accomodate Mandzukic, even if you argue that Mandzu is better, why waste Morata on the wing ? he's clearly not a winger. And please don't say they should play together, because neither has a SS qualities. That's why it's still baffling that we spent 39 mil on the two potential bench players ( Mandzukic and Zaza ) when we could've spent it more wisely !!

No it doesnt explicitly refer to Gotze at all..Just that there could be many options available as the market progresses.

If not Draxler,i somehow think we are/will be monitoring whats going on at United.

You clearly havent been watching Morata closely.Look at the positions he took in the CL final and many other games and tell me he wasnt/isnt cutting in from the wing.

Stop overanalyzing this friendly ffs.Max is evaluating a few things and in time will do whats needed to be done.
