Hey guys I think everyone should calm down

To put things into perspective we faced:
the home side
a really good defense
the CL runner up that were 3mins away from winning the final
the Spanish champs
the guy who coached the home side
the guy who coached a really good defense
the guy who coached the Spanish champs
the guy who coached the CL runner up that were 3mins away from winning the final
the guy who coached a really good defense

So let's not blow things out of proportion here

I liked his approach to the game, we executed a perfect first half were we really intimidated Atletico players and Tiago should have gotten a yellow card or two way before Marchisio got his card.

To think we needed a change, Atletico piled up pressure in the last 3 minutes of the first without causing any harm and continued to do so in the opening minutes of the second. We were able to suck up all the pressure and there was no need for subs. Allegri wouldn't have subbed these players had we not conceeded, instead he would have kept the shape and the game plan but he reacted fast and he took out a defender for a midfielder, then a midfielder for a forward and then all out attack.
I thought while we were soaking up the pressure well there were already hints someone somewhere will lose focus or make a stupid pass or something of the sort, and it did and cost us. Allegri could have mitigated this with at least one sub at that point so as to not disrupt the shape we were playing but provided new legs, strength and focus.

Otherwise I agree with your points.

I accept the defeat to Atletico but most of all I am curious to see how Allegri will react with our remaining matches. That should tell us where this Juve will be heading.

Shidmeone changed the game with the griesman sub.

Allegri should have done something too. But he was too worried to keep the score as it was. Mathematically it was an excellent plan, as this was on paper the hardest match. But its still annoying to see coaches winning games with subs while ours just wait to react in the dying minutes.

I dont understand

Not a terrible match, but when will Italian coaches learn that playing for a draw will end in a loss?
nut needs to be expanded upon..... it's fine to play for draw, but only if you have top notch defenders.

italian coaches all seem to think they have cannvaro and nesta when they have bon bon and chiellini.

allegri had the right idea with playing high up the pitch to mask defnsive weakness in serie a games. i just hope he understands that our defense simply cant soak pressure for 90 minutes in cl because of concentration issues
