It's not a bad reason.

Yes there are definitely better options out there, but there worse options too.
unless I am forgetting about a top coach out of a job, can't think of any obvious options ... not at this point of the pre-season. One should also keep in mind that Italian teams tend to prefer coaches with playing or coaching experience in Serie A, unless we are talking an absolute world class coach of which none is readily available right now.

Allegri's Juventus, enjoy:

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Asamoah
Vidal Pirlo Pogba
Marchisio
Tevez Llorente
You all know its coming.
Say what you want but this team is far from doomed. If the board keeps every important player and Allegri goes with this formation and squad he'll win Scudetto. As for CL if he proceeds out of the group stages you already have an improvement which shouldn't be too hard with this squad. The worst will be when players start to leave...

This will be year 0.

Iturbe out, means Berardi will be back next season. He'll be like Allegri's El Shaarawy.
Berardi should have been brought back right now tbh. Allegri gave a chance to SES who turned out to be a very promising player, at least before his injuries.

Allegri is definitely better than Mancini but he's far from a coach we should be after.

Thanks to the management and conte  the loser in this one is Juve.
