Still praising Conte when it should be obvious by now that the squad he had at his disposal is immense.

Conte deserves the fullest marks anyone could receive for his 1st season here. Incredible stuff and probably that is the situation that suits him best. Since then it's debatable how good he was for us as evidenced by our CLEAR improvement under Allegri despite many more injuries.
:agree:

Pogba.
Pirlo.
Asamoah.
Barzagli.
Tevez.
Holy fucking shit.

Yeah, playing without best defender of the last 3 years, now without best midfielder for couple of matches and last game against a rival with 2 goal deficit in away match without the best player and forward. Not to mention not having the same pirlo as conte did and still getting results and with some style too.

That is all down to the change of mentality. We are playing with confidence. Last time we had such confidence was in our first season under conte (which he should get major credit for).

And when you think that the second season we couldn't change formations or attitude on the pitch because Pepe was injuried and all the rest of his excuses...

At 2-0 conte would have subbed in Padoin and ogbonna to protect the lead. In this case Allegri starts padoin and brings on ogbonna while going for the 4th goal

Wow, easy now... I think we're all pretty hyped up over Allegri's work but denouncing Conte - with his history and record in mind - seems a bit over the top, no?
Oh and I'm not hyped over Allegri at all. I'm still wayting for the season to end to judge him properly, all i'm hyped about now is the change in mentality (which is due to coach).

"I needed someone tall"

:allegri:
...

“I made some players warm up, including Llorente and Giovinco, as I wanted to see how the game was going to develop. Against a side with players who are strong in the air but slow, it would be stupid to play with tall forwards. Tevez, Quagliarella and Giovinco gave them the most problems, as they are shorter and quick."

The team is going in the right direction under his guidance. We are everything what the others are not.

But I was wondering, will all this love be gone if we get KO by Monaco?
Nope we weren't even dreaming of reaching this far in the summer, or at least most wouldn't. Our objective was to be in the top8 and we are competing for Top 4. That's good.

EuroMaxx has proven himself so far in crunch matches this season.

Final CL group game against Atletico
2nd leg CL against Dortmund
2nd Coppa against Fiorentina

Conte teams would generally fail in such scenarios.

@Dule90 - new poll.

Was Allegri a good choice: Yes or no.

Simple answer. No "maybe" or "unsure/not-decided". No riding the fence on this. Fucking answer yes or no.

I want to see where people stand if they have the balls to vote.

relax dubya, we are not going for either with us or against us forum here. Whats the point of this exercise? what if he gets us relegated next year do we repeat the same thing again? instead of being happy our team is in the final all you think about is antagonizing 90% of the forum who were against his hiring, why?
