Some people seriously overrate this team.

We have a decent goalkeeper. An error prone defence that might be be dullest in all of Europe, where speed and the ability to read the game is of the essense. We have a quality midfield, and we have a decent if not average attack (on a european scale).

Thats not gonna get you in the final eight. Some years maybe with a bit of luck in the draw, but thats about it.

Name 5 goal keepers better than buffon.

Buffon is still among top 5 goalkeepers out there.

I'd personally put only Neuer ahead of him. Hardly can be labeled only as a decent. It doesn't look like he's slowing down and still manages to pull impressive saves despite his age, while in general he remains rather consistent performer.

Buffon is still good but compared to his earlier days he's far from his best, very far. Due to our strong defense (or shall I say weak league with weak attack force, since it's us who control the match 95% of the time) Buffon is not being tested enough, that's for sure. Sure, he makes some wonderful saves even nowadays, but he also makes plenty of errors himself. Nevertheless I still believe he's in the top 5 list, but maybe that's because there aren't many reliable GKs out there. David de Gea has tons of potential to be amazing but he still makes quite silly mistakes but still he's very young so I'd expect him to step up in the future.

Neuer is by far the best one imo. Nobody comes close.

and btw there is no team who are at the top with full worldclass team. people need to stop underrating our team. yes we lack some new additions but our team is far from decent and our bad results comes from bad mentality first then the lack of tactics and players.
