You think management should fire Allegri if we fail to progress from the group stages of the champions league?
It would be senseless to fire him for the eventual CL elimination in the mid of the season, especially if he has good results in Serie A and quite frankly I don't see us doing it.

Given our squad it isn't hard to achieve good results in Serie A

If we fail to make any progress in the CL, he has got to go come season's end. There is no justification for failure with the squad at his disposal.

He doesn't think they've done "that" bad. Explained himself with the fact that Juve created 8-10 chances and conceded on a counter v Olympiakos. :sergio:

In reality Juve created 2 chances and conceded because of three CBs that couldn't stop 2 players. It just bothers me that he doesn't acknowledge and admit to failure. Explaining himself for loosing to fkn Olympiakos..

Olympiakos didn't need to push or press as hard in the 2'nd half. They opted to take a more conservative approach as they were already leading. I hope this delusional reactive coach realizes the error of his ways and adopts a more daring and aggressive approach to the home tie against the Greeks. We have to come out all guns blazing. No more conserving energy and studying fucking opponents FFS!

City has been one of those teams that underachieves in Europe, rather similar like Juventus when it comes to European games and Roma showed it against Bayern that it's not all about pace, when the average IQ of your first team is slightly higher than a room temperature; Napoli was eliminated last season as well.
Napoli bowed out due to goal difference and with a total of 12 points. They played some really good football, and were rather unfortunate. We were abysmal/absolute shit. Herein lies the difference.

Two. Chances.

Wow.

I mean it has become quite clear over the past few years that finishing is something we really have to adress, and not having done so can undoubtedly be viewed as a major failure of the two coaches, but we had easily enough chances for 4 goals at least against Olympiakos. Morata alone could have scored a hattrick.

It depends how you consider the chances. I meant 100% chances that a pro team should be able to amount in goals. IMO we should have scored minimum 2. Yes i know we created more then 2 chances but of all id expect us to score 2 goals
