I really think the whole Allegri-Pirlo is getting blown out of proportions. It was mostly Galliani's policy of not giving longer contracts that made Pirlo leave.

From la stampa:
"Sunday evening came the news that Roma had reached an agreement for Iturbe , this made Conte angry. After the iturbe case, Conte called his lawyer to meet with Marotta so he can reach an agreement regarding a separation between Juve & Conte. Conte then announced his resignation to his colleagues on Tuesday morning before informing his players. Conte then told the players about his resignation. The players applauded him & thanked him with Tevez appearing motionless & shocked."

Assuming this is true the Iturbe thing did make most sense, for a coach to leave and target to sign for a rival on the same day. Maybe Conte didn't fancy the Roma challenge in these circumstances.

If the €32m plus bonuses overall fee for Iturbe is true then I can see why we pulled out.

If this is true, Conte is one of the biggest cowards and unprofessionals/selfish coaches around. To leave a club you supposedly love just after signing a contract and just after the preseason started is terrible.

Buckle up and leave at the end of the season or say to the board you're leaving in the winter, or whatever but not like this, very childish and emotional. If this is true this situation could have been handled 100 times better by Conte.
