What the hell is your problem? I am trying to put myself in the boards shoes in why they are trying to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible. As a player just starting preseason and absolutely no plan at all, don't you see an issue with that when your Coach just dips? I'm not trolling. The club wants to build a team for the CL and looking to invest but not the guy that runs the team is no longer here and there is absolutely no plan in place other than a few select handful of available coaches.
