Allegri has done better in Europe with weaker teams than Conte

He's got a more European mentality than Conte, for sure. He's also a more instinctive coach and you can see that in his reading of the game with his subs. That ability alone allows him to play more balanced football than Conte in Europe.

Honestly? nothing at all he has received praise and criticism from me however there are a certain number of cry babies who are still butt hurt by Conte's reign and continue to insist with this petty comparison with a manager who to this date has won nothing with this team to someone who took a team from the bottom and laid the foundations for the team as we know it today.

And managed to qualify for QFs 2 times now, beating Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund in Rof16 match-ups, much tougher opponents than Conte's once through to QFs by beating Celtic.

It's not even really close. Allegri has done far better in Europe with less.

And if Conte actually left in part due to our management not caving to his transfer demands, well, Allegri took those lousy transfers from this summer and turned them into starting XI calibre players, allowing him to change formation and succeed in both Europe and Serie A because of it.

Allegri > Conte in European football and it's not all that close.
