How? I've been trash talking the Brazilian players for two years and you defended them. In general, we agree that football changed a lot. The funny thing about this forum is that when an italian coach lose in Europe, he's an outdated Italian idiot. But when people mention, for example Di matteo, he's Swiss.
I meant Brazil in general. Today's team obviously isn't as talented as any past side we had and can't be used as a reference to what i said.

Well, maybe he is an outdated Italian idiot, but that idiot with a Ronaldo scoring almost 2 goals a match will suddenly turn into a genius, That's my point.

It takes a lot of talent and balls to take an average side and turn it into something special, it's not for everybody. Very few managers ever did it. I don't think that's Allegri. But he's a good coach, at least tactically, and would take us to the next level if we had the best around.

You guys overrate coaches too much. Give him top defenders, top wingers and a goal scoring machine as a striker and anyone with decent managerial knowledge and some morale boosting skills would take us to the next level. That's been Brazil since... always. Shit managers, talented players.

We get him the top players, i'm talking about game-changers. And you'd Allegri being praised like he was God.

Van Gaal and his Ajax in 94-96, Guardiola's Barcelona... Meh, sure, they had good ideas and came up with good systems but most importantly they had talented fuckers, extremely talented. Give Allegri the tools.
Bingo. People sometime not so long ago, all over the footballing World started thinking that coaches were god like beings that more or less claimed responsibility for 90% of a teams success/failure.

Any coach who's not thick could 'improve' us if we had some serious new signings. We don't need a tactical kingpin, we need players to improve us and give us a more modern style of play. Allegri, Conte, any fucker could set us up to win.

He's just coming up with stuff that fits his viewpoint now.

I agree. A great coach is a great coach but they're not a different species.
